Idk about the US but to be honest, I genuinely think most people in the UK have never even thought about the whole Miss/Mrs thing lol. Some people prefer Ms and so use that instead, but most couldn’t give a shite and it’s defo not considered right wing or evangelical to call yourself Miss/Mrs 😂.
I find it quite strange that other countries find it offensive but also it has become so common in the English-speaking world we don't really think much of it. I remember calling unmarried teachers "Mrs" as a kid and no one batting an eye. This is def a non-English speaking only thing

Okay, so do you think Ruby's actually mentally ill? Because being spoiled is not a mental illness. Neither is being demanding, entitled, or selfish. These are just negative personality traits that a person who isn't mentally ill could change if they ever had to. But I think there's more going on with Ruby than just a rotten character. I don't think she's capable of changing, no matter what the situation.

I suspect Ruby's had some sort of psychological dysfunction her whole life and has never gotten the treatment she needed because her parents are careless. And lazy. Ruby was a proper little student and so they didn't bother to pay attention to whether she was growing into a sound person. It was easier to keep coddling her than to address the question of why she needed so much coddling in the first place. Now they're stuck with her, and she sure isn't getting any better.
She is definitely underweight and has some physical signs of malnourishment, and what she posts suggests disordered eating and an obsession with food. Whether she has an eating disorder to diagnostic levels of mental illness is impossible for us to say but it looks like it.

This is just a question about the Russell Group. (I'm not from the UK) Is there any quantitative factor between a normal degree vs a Russell Group degree? Is it like say, an Ivy League school (Harvard, Dartmouth, Brown, for a US comparison) where it's just prestigious?

I know in the US private schools hire a lot of non-qualified individuals, but they are also usually very well-established in their field (an ex-professor or a researcher if the school isn't religious) I just don't understand why she was hired (and then put on a full-time staff list?) if she's fresh out of college?

I hope the video is re-uploaded soon!
Can the people who posted it see that it got views and was reposted on Tattle (sorry I am technically illiterate!)?

Just wondered if it got taken down because it got criticism on here! 😂

I'm on a kick of having Roobee's videos on in the background while I fight with Excel, but I swear she's making me stupider. "I don't really know why apples are seen as automonal, I feel like they're more of an August fruit." "Brothers Karamat-sov." "Here I was doing some research on chapter structures and different ways to structure a chapter, the dos and don'ts of chapter structuring and looking at some theory on this too."
August is pre-autumn, so apples are autumnal, Ruby!

Her admitting she took her favourite toy and constantly dragged it against the floor, rubbing the eyes until they were all scratched up. This is not normal behaviour as to how you treat a favourite stuffed animal.
Wtf do you remember when she said this or which video it was in 😮?

If she does get into Oxford to do her Master's I wonder which course she'll do.
English (1550-1700)
English (1700-1830)
English (1830-1914)
English (1900-Present)
English (650-1550)
English and American Studies
English Studies (Medieval Period)
World Literatures in English
My guess is 650, 1550s or 1700s. Maybe the Medieval Period? they sound the most pretentious.

We shouldn't categorically disapprove of everything Ruby does. She seems happy in her van short video, as well as Blakeney. I am glad she is spending some time with people other than her family, and one good thing about Blakeney is that she definitely didn't befriend Ruby just because of her social media following. Otherwise she would have a public profile somewhere. So it does seem like an authentic friendship.
I re-read my reply to you and I hope it didn't come over as rude! Sorry if it did. I agree that we shouldn't categorically disapprove of everything Ruby does. Of course. She is a content creator so my reactions and chats in this forum are related to things I see in her content that reaction-worthy.

Because her audience seems to be girls who are quite young and possibly impressionable, some of her content makes me a bit concerned.

She only took 3 classes in her third year? Why? I took 6 every semester. 5 for my major in English Lit and 1 elective. Is this typical in UK education?
In my second year at university I did 6 modules and in my third year I did 4 modules however one of these modules was my dissertation.

Oxford Colleges also have internal reputations, which you'll only know if you've been there or know someone who has done so in the recent past. My partner went there and informs me that Wolfson has a reputation for being where all the gay guys go... which sounded ridiculous to me until I looked up who went there from my school, and found nothing to counter his assertion! I can't remember the others he's told me, but the reality isn't always obvious from the outside!
Indeed. There is one college at Oxford where lots of Welsh students go (learned this from a Welsh friend) and at Cambridge, King's is a bit of a communist hub. Trinity College is the one for private school graduates.

What a nice idea for her to use. But she/her management either don't read tattle or they just don't care which would be a shame. I've been on here for like half a year now and despite all the trolling, there has been such a great amount of ideas and inspiration for improvement. I've also compared Ruby's threads to other threads about other influencers which are beyond boring.
What trolling 💀?

Regardless of how we feel about Roobee and the quality of her videos, and in spite of the way she has ruined The Nutcracker for us, let’s at least be grateful she’s no longer using the music starting at 2:42 in this video:

This music actually fits her better. It conveys the image of the cheerful, naive child who just can't help but dance around and love the world
