but doesn't term start way later? Or it probably differs from Land to Land I guess. Cause I'm currently doing my Erasmus in Bayern and the term only started last Monday in October 18th.
Yeah, term starts later and ends later over here but the point I was making was that we don't have a reading week in the humanities at all.

I think the money make a huge difference tho! That's what politics is all about, after all. I don't know what the parties are in England. But I'm pretty sure Ruby's parents are right wingers. "Socially on the left but fiscally on the right" type of people. Wich means you are on the right lmao. People associate right wing with conservatives nowadays, and that's absolutely not what it means. We are pretty sure her dad does tax evasion right?
I don't know anything about her parents. But they give me huge vibes of people who would give money to charity but vote against a party that want to end poverty (somehow) if it means they have to give up their mansion and privilege.
The fact she went to a private school alone. And people go to private school for all reasons, my bf went to a private school because his parents are immigrants and they came to Canada to give him the best life possible, I get that (still don't agree but I get it).
But if you're rich. And believe that your kids deserve "better" education because you are rich. I find that very despicable.
I live in the french part of Canada, and Canada was first colonized (horribly yes, I'm not talking about that part) by the french, then the english. And french is the official language here. But people from english descent have HUGE (literally the priciest house in all Canada is in the english district of my province, also, one of Trudeau's minister own it lmao) generational wealth. And they have their own private school in english for primary and secondary school. Somehow they often avoid making their kids learn french. When it's the law, immigrant's kids have to learn french, it's mandatory, but english peoples's kids often avoid it because it's fine if one of the parent can speak french, we somehow assume they'll learn it at home.
And idk about where you guys live, but here, there is very little founding for the education system, teachers are always on strike, many, many schools are bordeline disgusting, kids with disabilities get little to no help if they get diagnosed at all...
Anyways. I really don't like people like Ruby, who always talk about how education is a gift and all that shit. Because it doesn't fuckin have to be Ruby, and some countries (like Germany, as you said) already have free education, it's not like a crazy socialist dream.
Why doesn't she talk about how it should be accessible to everybody instead of "such a great gift". That's fuckin annoyin.
Yeah, I think her mum ones said something about caring for refugees, but I can’t see her actually doing anything for them!!

What a pervert! Think Ruby's noticed or is she completely oblivious?

Ruby has become uncomfortably similar to Holly.
Without the self awareness, though

Was it the pandemic that made her regress or had she started with childlike/ED behaviors before it?

"I can't help that I'm so much smarter than everyone, I spend my time reading the DSM whilst the other girls are off making friendship bracelets and painting their nails."

OMG on the topic of her old school I just remembered someone from GG who went to Pipers mentioning something about how food and weight were an obsession at the school, weekly they were weighed by the nurse and eating habits were extremely strict there and there are a lot of weird rules. Also girls that didn't fit a certain appearance dealt with ostracism.
but she was at a healthy weight in high school. her cheeks were more full, and she looked healthier. her skin was glowing and I think she ate a more varied diet than now

at work, we say biweekly to mean once every two weeks.
i think I'd just say twice a week, instead of bi-weekly.

Hi everyone! I'm new here and have been reading this thread for a while now, just thought I should finally introduce myself into it.

Ruby is... I don't know. She doesn't seem as bad as some youtubers but she's also not the best

The private school she went to was where the local rich girls who didn’t get into the state grammar school went. In the sixth form, some would then transfer to the grammar if they proved to be very academic. I went to the grammar and so had friends who transferred over and when I went out with them and their friends from Ruby’s old school…I don’t even know how to describe them. Big fish in tiny ponds, very rich, and pretty clueless about the real world. And very egocentric. Not just the schools doing, but a combination of family and school and from what I know of them now, they’ve mostly drifted in life, but with money.
That's very interesting to me, I always thought Ruby went go a grammar school.

also love that they picked what's probably the only 3 minority ethnic girls in the school to do the ad, so inclusive x
Yes I'm really getting that ... you're ethnic get in the video to make us look more inclusive vibe

See it’s a common phrase round here for like best friend or often used for partner/boyfriend/girlfriend so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were actually together 😂😂
yes it's what I call the guy I have been seeing for 5 years.. not in any cheesy way but because he genuinely is..

If I was Blakeney I’d be relieved Ruby goes home so often as I’d be over the moon to have the place to myself and also just be out of her clutches for a few days so often.

I would however be a little annoyed about it.As someone who goes home so often, Ruby should’ve continued to live alone.Blakeney could’ve found flatmates who she would have been able to spend much more valuable time with.
Ruby's practically paying not to be there 1/3 of the time.

Princess Ruby has blocked me from Insta for calling out her fad of sustainability. I said Miss Patina is a fast fashion brand and block it is! Keep blocking out the truth Ruby. Enjoy your hypocrisy and watching the planet burn by continue to shop at fast fashion.
Great support of women's rights too btw! :)
Is Miss Patina fast fashion? I thought they were quite sustainable?

Interested in hearing more info, google isn't helping and I know a few people who shop there thinking it is all ethical/sustainable.

i wonder why there were so few Miss Patina clothes on this video. Has she finally caught on that it’s fast fashion? Have they cottoned on to her money-grubbing ways and pulled the plug? Or is this her week of pretending she has a budget like everyone else and only buys second-hand? (I mean she does, in the sense that everything else she has is #gifted)
I’m betting on her MP clothes sitting in that mouldy trunk thing of hers now! Only to be remembered when it’s time for a #spon, just like that laptop.
