I got told off on the last thread for saying it reminds me of the word rape too! Guess we are both oddIt was a pronounciation question. It's an awful name and brings bad associations to my mind. Am I not allowed an opinion?
Why would you associate rafe with rape? I completely understand people saying it’s “safe with an R” as that’s how it’s pronounced...It was a pronounciation question. It's an awful name and brings bad associations to my mind. Am I not allowed an opinion?
It’s not even remotely similar, it’s also not that hard to grasp and if you are really struggling...It was a pronounciation question. It's an awful name and brings bad associations to my mind. Am I not allowed an opinion?
My association was not to do with pronunciation. More how it looks, or could look. Especially when written by hand in some peoples handwritingIt’s not even remotely similar, it’s also not that hard to grasp and if you are really struggling...google is a thing

Every baby is different so maybe she might be more successful with little Rafe. I loved feeding my children.I think I remember her saying she tried with Robin but had lots of problems with him latching.
I had similar experience with my first and so tend to remember when I hear a ‘celebrity’ talking about it!
She can’t breastfeed she’s got ads with tommee tippeeMaybe time to draw a line under this one and chat about something else !
I wonder how many bottles of wine she's had!?! Is there a reason she doesn't breastfeed? Or is she ?
I don't know any breastfeeding mums that drank wine or anything else. Fruit juice gave my eldest the shits. I lived on water and the odd cup of tea for 18 months. Also if people assume she’s not breastfeeding because she wants to drink that’s probably not true either. Proud wine guzzling breastfeeding mama here. Mum and baby continue to thrive
I never drank alcohol when I breastfed, was very mindful that everything I consumed was also going into my babies but each to there own. Sometimes a glass of something helps you fight another day when things get tough !I don't know any breastfeeding mums that drank wine or anything else. Fruit juice gave my eldest the shits.
