. Wish people would think of including wee treats, toiletries or sanitary products too, obv not food but really useful.
I think a lot of people just pap stuff into charity to save themselves the guilt/expense/hassle of getting rid of it whilst also getting that buzz of having done a good deed.
My team were collecting toiletries and cosmetics for a women’s refuge at Xmas time, just from friends and family, and some of the crap I was given was mortifying. Dusty, out of date smelly sets that had clearly been gifted several times over already, half empty lipsticks covered in fluff and old pubes… Just don’t bother.
Quality, not quantity.
