I happened to be watching the Late Late when Rosanna was on, the episode just before Covid kicked off, so before her miracle twins were conceived.She opened up about her fertility struggles and surrogacy journey, the 14 or something miscarriages & I was absolutely bawling crying watching it. I was also so happy she got her daughter, but on the other hand so sad for the ordinary average Irish women in her same situation who wouldn't have the means to go down that route. And it's not a decision to be taken lightly, leaving finances aside. Also the law here means the surrogate is legally Rosannas daughter's mother so yes, I agree possibly keeping her sweet as possible, she doesn't owe her anything at this stage, it is a VERY generous gesture nonetheless with the price of property in this country. I think I'd be paying to get her a mansion in Poland or somewhere like that if I were in that situation

She comes across as being far too sweet to be wholesome but I guess when you're brought up like she was you can don't have much to worry about. In saying that didn't her Dad have an affair with the nanny? That must have been a stressful time at home!

I know it’s been discussed here before, and I know she was young, but Rosannas reaction to the girl who her father had the affair with, was stinking. The girl was very young, like 20s and he was well into his 40s and Rosanna totally blamed her. It was ridiculous. She’s not blameless at all but he was the one who was older and in a position of authority.

I’m not justifying it but the way she spoke about the girl and having that opinion of her was probably the only way she could maintain a relationship with her father.. completely blame the girl so she doesn’t have to see the real issue.. That her 40+ year old father had an affair with a 19 year old college student who was looking after his children while his wife recovered from a broken neck in hospital. It’s a defence mechanism.
