It's nice isn't it! I think the (rough) makes it sound like I'm saying Portishead is rough, I just meant my rough geographical location :D

I visited Applecross a few years ago, gorgeous place and the food in Applecross Inn was amazing. Somehow we sat outside, right beside the water and not a midge came near us! Loved driving Bealach na Bà as well.

Grand pianos are so basic these days. The presence of a Harp or Cello in the photos is when you know it's serious.

I am dog obsessed but think it’s not clever if agents to take pics with dogs in as some people don’t like them and it will put them off.

I am not a cat fan and cat pics would make me think the house smelt of cats, eg.

I felt this was really going heavy on instagram filters circa 2011 - a total aesthetic but I’m hook line and sinker on it 😂

When I sold my house, one of my dogs could be seen through the back door and the photographer asked us to move her to make sure she wasn't in the photo.

Unless you're going to move every trace of pets from photos (bowls, beds, leads by the door, signs that say 'good boy lives here' 😂😂) you might as well include them in the photos as well - or at least not purposely exclude them/ redo the photos if they appear!

When I'm looking at houses online as soon as I see pet bowls it becomes a game of spot the pet in the remaining photos- usually a dog stuck out in the garden, wistfully staring in through the patio doors :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

Many years ago I had a ginger cat. We lived in a new build right next door to the show house.the builders were Wimpy. At that time their adverts always included a ginger cat. The salesman told me my cat used to sleep on the bed in the showhouse. Lots of prospective buyers thought he was part of the advertising campaign so he was happy to let him snooze on the beds!

I agree, its not a selling point even if you have pets yoyrself its only offputting. OT but I remember when I was little and we were looking at houses to move to and I was desperate to move to a specific house we saw as they had a cat and I thought it came with the house 🤣
