I hope someone books it under false pretences and shoots a porno there. Jobby left unflushed in the bathroom, used condoms on the floor and jizz on the curtains
Oh watch out everyone, there’s an edgelord in town! Not so subtly hinting that he's the one whos fallen foul of dodgy business practices. His head is so so far up his own ass at this point.
Because there always has to be a made up layer of ‘mystery’ to him and his life, all because he can’t accept he’s just a boring, average guy.Yeah I don’t get the whole cloak and dagger aspect to this “move” it’s an extended holiday. Just say that ffs.
Bit in bold: I’m not sure I agree with this. Information is out there forever; Companies House, stuff in the press about him mugging off suppliers, etc etc. that stuff will, and should, follow him. Does he think he can just grow up and all of a sudden move into a well paid, creative industry and peopleHe's absolutely deluded if he thinks he'd be in any way qualified for this role. I know Art Directors who have twenty years of experience that wouldn't think they'd stand a chance at this.
The idea that, as a middling illustrator with a sub degree education who's run half a dozen businesses into the ground, he thinks he stands even a remote chance of being anywhere close to shortlisted for a prestigious brand is actually quite sad. I blame the echo chamber of insta for that.
My advice would for him to eat a bit of humble pie, work to get an entry level creative role in an agency and learn how to actually work with a team to produce decent work. It's not too late for him to regain some semblance of reputation.
Hi AmandaI've stayed quiet on this since I found out more about the companies at the start of the union involvement. I might get slaughtered for this but apparently Rich had very little to do with why the union actually got involved and was the only one in that company to care about the staff. I don't know anything about the new pub/the other abandon ship bars but all of the staff I've spoken to involved with it speak a lot more highly of Rich than the rest. He introduced living wage in the bars and was apparently working with staff on fixing all of the issues outlined by Unite. From what I've pieced together that's what lead to his split as the rest of the bars in Dundee, including an Abandon Ship, are still open. He left because he was railroaded into working with conmen and couldn't fix the mistakes.
Not saying it absolves him of any past or future mishaps but figured I'd throw my two cents in, the union stuff wasn't down to him.
He doesn't have anything to do with this to the best of my knowledge, it was the other company that he was involved with and I got told they were bought out or sold out of most if not all their bars in Glasgow.
