Buy preloved or just buy something else.

Don’t buy A fake. What’s the point? Pretending to have dough when you don’t? Seems a bit silly to me.

People just want to own nice things that are way out there price range.
That being said I've found some cheap second hand real LV on Japanese sales websites. Preloved is definitely better than fake.
I just wouldn't risk it as there's too many scams and some fakes can get seized at border control anyway so it'd be money down the drain.

Just reading back. For those who said the thread should be deleted I disagree. The behinds of fakes and fast fashion are an important topic. Of course people are free to buy as they please but it's something that not everyone knows about and this thread raises more awareness to those topics.

I really need to know about this bag now, what it is, how the custom order works, how much it costs etc - I promise I won't think you're Braggy, I'm too tight to spend the money on a designer bag but would love to live vicariously through you!

It's custom order which is why I am in a wait. I don't want to say as no matter how I do, it will sound like a brag.

A day bag can always be carried over to evening with the right accessories.

Can someone recommend me a nice bag? I’m currently carrying a LV alma BB, which is super cute and I love her, but it’s sometimes hard to carry bigger items with me like perfume or my sunglasses case and I have to sacrifice space!

so I’m looking for a larger bag (not too big), ideally with a cross body strap but I’m not too fussy! Authentic please I don’t have a specific budget, but something not too crazy expensive!

I have over 20 authentic bags, 4 of which have broken or have deteriorated before their time so I decided to stop paying 1-3k for a bag and buy high tier replicas. Funnily enough, none of my replicas have ever broken nor are any of my replica bags plastic

I don’t know why people feel the need to shame other people for what they choose to spend their money on and insulting people by suggesting they’re money poor because they don’t buy designer handbags and even if you are poor, what tf is this exclusivity that only rich people or those who save up are allowed designer items??

There’s a difference between chatting and discussing the ethics of the replica market than insulting, degrading and making suggestive comments of others. Nobody who has slightly ~defended~ replicas on this thread has been rude or suggestive of other people but the same can’t be said of people who are so anti-replica.

I feel like people who buy replicas use that excuse all the time ‘I have real designer & the quality was terrible it broke & my replica has never ever broken’ sorry I call BS.
If you make a designer purchase and the quality isn’t satisfactory you take it back into the shop and they will sort out any issues for you.
If you buy a replica and it breaks it goes in the bin.
