I feel like people who buy replicas use that excuse all the time ‘I have real designer & the quality was terrible it broke & my replica has never ever broken’ sorry I call BS.
If you make a designer purchase and the quality isn’t satisfactory you take it back into the shop and they will sort out any issues for you.
If you buy a replica and it breaks it goes in the bin.

Not the case but thanks for suggesting I’m lying I had a Gucci Soho Disco for 4 months before the strap snapped off. They refused to fix it for free or exchange for a new bag so I had to pay for it to be fixed, not at the Gucci store I may add as they weren’t getting a penny more of my money.

So many people coming in here on their high horses calling people out for buying a fake bag as if they’ve just killed someone and are now the leader in a child trafficking ring

As if you’re all so perfect, buying a cheap bag from Primark, Top Shop etc, is literally no different to buying a fake. Most of these brands even designers have workers in dire conditions the fashion industry is awful to the world!

Sorry to everyone reading that I went to Turkey and got tempted like many other thousands walking on the streets there. I will hand myself into the police for handing awful stolen goods. I also was given Shrek 2 on VHS years ago filmed in the cinema, so will let them know of that awful crime I committed while I’m there!

Hey! I was totally contemplating the speedy 25 (but the bandouliere) but I never see anyone with a speedy anymore, I was worried they’re slowly going out! (No offence), but they are so so practical, so roomy... such a gorgeous bag! Do you have the damier ebene or monogram? I guess they will always be a classic!

Yes there are some unethical links with replicas. Just like there’s unethical links with the Catholic Church, The UK government (Dolphin Square), Porn, ICE (USA), every single high street manufacturer AND designer goods... I’m not sure if people are aware that the factories for some are the identical factories to those in which the real thing are made. If you know any natives they can inform you through their news channels. This doesn’t even get me started on the pure financial corruption in China which is behind the majority of every product you use in your home.

follow the supply chain - if it’s not obvious- there’s China in there somewhere and there will be something unethical.
LV bags are made in different factories then shipped to US and France for final assembly to get the correct stamp. This is common knowledge, same with many other designers.

so I think it’s quite irrelevant to the conversation. Unless every single item of clothing anyone on the internet wears is also up for discussion.

And before someone comments. I only own authentic bags. Mainly because I didn’t know the high end replica world exists so easily and I’m lucky to have money.

Same here. I have no probs with other people buying replicas, but I’d know it wasn’t real, so it’s just not for me. I’d rather go without and save until I could get the real deal

I don’t defend fake bags, I just know about the industry. I worked in the sector in the financial part. Factories using lines for fake items is a known issue.

I guess you think some of your fake bags are possibly a genuine that fell of the belt too? Sounds like something replica manufacturers have made up themselves to me. Just like they claim their replicas are ‘identical’ to the real thing which they NEVER are.
