I actually think the thread should be kept up - I started reading this on the Molly mae thread, obvs felt sad that I’ve spent many a £££ on legit designer, then read here and realised that actually it’s all not what it seems.

So I do think it’s good to have this here and point out why these things are illegal and immoral if you catch my drift.

My sister bought me a fake Chanel bag for Christmas. According to her, it's what you call a AAA fake. Honestly, I can't tell the difference. She said its from one of the people that supplies Camden market.

could you post a picture of it? I’m curious to see what it looks like. I have an authentic Chanel bag, and would want to see how close the fake comes in terms of design!

Not the case but thanks for suggesting I’m lying I had a Gucci Soho Disco for 4 months before the strap snapped off. They refused to fix it for free or exchange for a new bag so I had to pay for it to be fixed, not at the Gucci store I may add as they weren’t getting a penny more of my money.

I guess you think some of your fake bags are possibly a genuine that fell of the belt too? Sounds like something replica manufacturers have made up themselves to me. Just like they claim their replicas are ‘identical’ to the real thing which they NEVER are.

FYI I just want to state that I am not asking this in an attempt to shame her or anything. There is a good chance she maybe a victim of a scam (those reselling reps and claiming it’s the real deal). I want to kind of bring it up but don’t want to run the risk of embarrassing her if it actually doesn’t look anything out of the ordinary (I am no expert with the bag hence why I seek guidance from someone who knows better then I do).
If she did get scammed then she deserves to get her money back and to have the sellers be reported for fraud to the proper authorities.

People on this thread were appalled at how they could be supporting something so illegal and controversial. I mean when you got them literally encouraging each other to become prostitutes and advocating drug use... no surprise.
You can tell what type of mentality they have. Instead of encouraging each other to work hard and buy the real thing they tell each other to take the "easy" way out and mooch off of an old nasty perv. Then again take the easy way out by purchasing bootleg items instead of working hard, saving money and buying 1 or 2 authentic bags of their dreams. They have no aspiration, no self-respect or pride. They simply just want to take the easy way out. It's funny how somebody called Its_Me a snob who leeches off mommy and daddy's money but not every girl has to and some women work hard for the luxuries in life.

I don’t defend fake bags, I just know about the industry. I worked in the sector in the financial part. Factories using lines for fake items is a known issue.

Yasss! The fact that they all kept hyping each other over something so gross and then having other unsuspecting girls aspire to take the same route while they left out major things like how they have to have sex with old men in exchange for these gifts. Why can't they encourage each other to get an education, a good job and work hard for the money to obtain luxury. And TBH if the items are obtained in this manner it is so much more rewarding and you feel good about yourself meanwhile being given a Chanel bag in exchange for sexual favours... surely there can't be no pride in that. I'd feel too disgusted with myself even wearing it if thats how it was obtained.
I am not surprised that they were encouraging each other to partake in basically prostitution when they on a platform that discusses how to do already illegal and unethical things.
