It was a beautiful funeral, Prince Philip did an excellent job planning. I hope he enjoyed watching over it too. The massed band were on fine form, the lay clerks and soprano sounded lovely, the Dean was every bit the clergyman you could want for such an event, the Archbishop was....there, the piper was tear-jerking, the battle call at the end was such the perfect touch. Seeing the ponies made me cry.
Prince Charles looked so broken, I hope he can find some peace during his time in Wales. Camilla, Anne, Cambridges and Wessexes were wonderful. Wanted to hug them all, of course. Lovely reading the histories of the brooches the senior ladies were wearing. The nod to Prince Philip in the brooch Lady Louise was wearing
So glad she will be looking after his ponies.
I'm so glad the royals will be surrounding the Queen. 73 years is longer than some lifespans so the hole she must be feeling
I hope the puppies are keeping her close.
