In fairness with the transformation pics, she has mentioned previously that there aren't many before pics to use as she hated having her photo taken when she was big. I do wish she wouldn't filter the fk out of her selfies though, and she really does know her selfie angles.

I joined her Nutricrew FB group last month. Quite liked it, so thought I would use the ‘pinned’ calculations to find out my daily calorie allowance, after all this was recommended time after time to members. It worked out pretty low (I’m short, post menopausal and not got loads to lose)
I asked if anyone else’s came out so low and what everyone recommend I do as I’d be starving on so few but wanted to trust the calculation. Had quite a few nice, genuinely helpful replies.
Suddenly comments were turned off after Red lips commented, pretty much saying how exasperated she is with people asking the same thing over and over and eating too few calories.
Yet there she is licking Fopperholic arse who is starving herself, sprays food to stop her eating it and looking anorexic🤷‍♀️
Go figure.

To be honest, I can see why they are friends. Both narcissistic primadonnas :rolleyes:
Needless to say. I left the group.
She’s only all over Fopperholic as she has a large following and she’ll hope that she’ll gain some of Foppeeholics following.

I used to go to her SW group years ago, found her extremely condescending. She’d always bang on about everyone having the same amount of hours in a day it’s how you decide to use them and you’ll make time for the gym if you really want it...no hun, I’m out of the house for work 10-12 hrs a day, then I’ve got to cook, run the house, spend time with my partner etc and if after that there’s no time for the gym, I won’t feel guilty. We don’t all have the luxury of working part time and being able to go to the gym morning, noon and night.

I’ve left the group now. I do prefer nutracheck over MFP but all these groups are exactly the same as SW and WW. I’ve said it before but if you pay a fee, weigh yourself, are in a private FB group talking about weight loss you’re in a slimming club, end of! The only club that I think is genuinely great is Preece Nutrition. He’s lovely and kind and will go out of his way to help you. Once I get into the right headspace I’ll be ready to smash my weight loss, for the minute I’m as happy as a pig in tit eating my body weight in milky buttons!!

I am curious about her money/homelife situation too, I am so nosy😅. She likes to splash the cash on her makeup and mutton costumes quite a lot. I doubt she's earning much working at a gym and her children are grown.. maybe we'll see her on a channel 5 doc titled: my granny was an escort one day🤣

Of course it's free. Who would pay for that?!

Yesterday's posts chain about the calories in diet drinks and how people didn't realise they were so high. Swearing off drinks as they were 14 kcals for a bottle. That's not food freedom - that's cutting your nose off to spite your face.

Yeah your right as some people will then not want to even drink diet and be restrictive.

Tbh I took it as realising if I’m basing it on calories I can just have full fat pop and not be bothered and have the guilt like what I’ve been drilled with in past from ex slimming clubs etc. But I understand what you mean as some people will take that as to not have diet Pop at all.

I’m so over the ex SW’s suddenly shoving sugar laden protein bars down their throats, banging on about how they never went out (bull tit, I’ve followed you for years 😂) and the FrEeDoM. You weren’t restricted, it didn’t give you food issues - they were already there...THATS WHY YOU JOINED IN THE FIRST PLACE 😂 You’ve all just gone from one obsession to the next.

Disclaimer - I lost a tit load of weight on SW. I ate fresh, balanced meals. I never once felt the need to binge or restrict. I didn’t make crappy gravy and I certainly didn’t cheat. During this time I was the healthiest and happiest I have even been. Most people aren’t stupid who follow the plan and understand nutrition and control - they just don’t want to sit and count the calories in meals or guesstimate, me being one of them. I know people who have lost weight on SW and have kept it off for years and are still where they want to be.

My issues with food stem from other sources.

I agree with you. The whole calorie counting concept is great if your relaxed and learn to eat in moderation without obsessing. However I feel with the group she’s created it’s just another cult that is going to obsess over calories rather an syns etc. I don’t think twice when I drink a diet Fanta 🙄, the amount of posts saying “I can finally eat an avocado” 🙄🙄

I’m with you. Slimming world 100% works if you are sensible, use your syns accordingly and portion control. However so many people are trying to cheat the system. The whole evening “syn plate” blows my mind. I lost 8 stone and I’ve gained just over 2 back however I admit it’s my fault and I’m actually at a point in my life where I eat to maintain however 4 all inclusive holidays and 3 years later the weight has piled on, but my day to day eating I maintain my weight and don’t over eat 🙈. However I know the solution is to eat cleaner and reduce my portions where as I feel like the “nutricrew” are already trying to cheat the system..

I am the person who will happily have a giant coffee with all the extra bits as a meal. Its practically sweet caffienated soup. I probably won't disclose that though.

I've so far lost almost 6.5 stone from my heaviest. 2 stone of that was with SW. Then I regained that 2 stone, then lost it again in lockdown. In lockdown I went back to CC as it really does fit in more with life and I don't have to do strange maths when I eat out or god forbid I want cereal and a sandwich or even toast twice in one day. I'm 4 weeks clean from a group and the jitters are just setting in

SW really do need to get their arse in gear and stop influencers tarnishing their brand. Prickard for example - lies about his weightloss to get money from crappy collabs. Big Ben was in their mag again this month but the lying twunt has clearly put it back on. (Nothing wrong with this but he is deceiving followerswhilst using the SW brand to do so)

During my journey I ate Avocado!!! I’m looking at these ex-SW pages and all I’m seeing now is Grenade bars and Skinny Syrup chemical tit storms whilst panicking over hitting their macro targets 😂

I’m very much in the finding what works for you camp. Lovely Brenda who’s the same age as your mum doesn’t want to sit there and MFP everything they buy, some people want to sit down with their family and eat the same meal without worrying about their Maco’s, some people enjoy the control pointing or synning. But don’t slate the very thing that got you where you were for your own gain.

Macros are the new thing to sell a plan. In my opinion the only people who need to worry about macros are the people who are entering body building competitions. Counting cals and macros is not something someone should do long term. The idea is to count cals for a set period (say 12-16weeks) and then in theory you should have the knowledge to eat well. There are a millions ways to lose weight, it’s all about finding a way that is sustainable for you. This might be WW, SW, Cal Counting, Keto, IF, Paleo. Some of these accounts are making out they have reinvented the wheel. Skinny syrups and sauces taste like crap. Grenade bars are ok but if you want a chocolate bar then have one, the calories are similar. Eating a tub of halo top is not the same as a tub of Ben and Jerry’s, yes Halo Top is lower cal/has more protein but you can taste that! It’s like watery ice! Skinny donuts taste like I’d rather stay fat and rolling grapes in jelly crystals is just wrong! As is making mousse from cottage cheese and jelly (hello Body Coach).
Calorie counting is having its time in the limelight, it’ll be something else come January.

That last sentence is everything ‘ don't slate the very thing that got you where you were for your own gain’ I have been guilty of slating slimming world in the past but it was nothing but the reason that I was greedy and had no willpower. I have lost 4 stone in the past with slimming world and it works. They all work if you have the willpower. The reason I gained the weight back was because I never fixed my relationship with food. The plan works. Even Fopperholic says she will always love slimming world. I bloody dislike the woman but even she says I will always love slimming world even though she is now doing calorie counting ( starving herself more like) However Catherine is completely trying to erase everything that slimming world has been for her. She lost her weight with slimming world and she has earned her livelihood from it. She built up her Instagram account on the back of it etc. The woman is a walking hypocrite. Now she is acting like a weight loss god and patronising the members of that Facebook Group. She ain’t on there to help people she is there trying to lay the foundations of her next money making scheme.

So true! A lot of accounts do this, lose a lot with SW (like 6/7st ), switch time cal counting to lose the last 7lb yet erase all knowledge of SW!
