She’s feeding the old wives tale of “if you’re craving sweet things, it’s a girl”. You know what I wanted when I was pregnant with my daughter? Chow mein and my sickness was worse with my boys.
I’ve just been thinking, even if this baby is a boy, she’ll use gender disappointment as content. That’s all this baby is to her. I hope Steve gets the snip now. If she can do this once, she can do it again.
I haven’t been on contraception for 4 years. My husband uses protection and we haven’t had an accidental pregnancy. Just saying

I’ve been on and off contraception many times over the years (currently off it right now) and I have two planned children and had absolutely no accidental pregnancies throughout the 14 years me and my husband have been together. It’s really not that difficult to track your fertile days (if you’re someone with a typical cycle) and to take appropriate precautions.

Can we stop the rhetoric of “Steve has been trapped/she’s got herself pregnant”

- Steve is a grown man, he’s nearly 40 years old
- Steve has already fathered 2 children (that we know of)
- Steve knows how babies are made
- Steve knows that Rebecca wasn’t using ANY contraception
- Steve knows that he wasn’t using condoms
-Steve hasn’t had a vasectomy

if Steve didn’t want to risk Rebecca becoming pregnant then STEVE could have worn a condom! Steve could have got a vasectomy. Steve could have refused to have unprotected sex with Rebecca unless she was using contraception.


steve hasn’t been trapped or forced into this or had the wool pulled over his eyes.

I do agree BUT there’s a severe lack of respect from beggy as she’s clearly gone onto the ‘natural cycles’ on purpose to get pregnant. If we can see how blatant it is that she has completely planned this then surely he could?! Like you say he’s a grown man and knows what happens when he puts his sausage in her ‘porn hub friendly’ growler

Honestly, Natural Cycles and other fertility tracking apps are a menace. I know so many people who have used them specifically to avoid getting pregnant and ended up up the duff six months later. They're basically a fertility aid in my friendship circle. Don't know how they're allowed to operate without stricter regulation.

I think it's the fact that everyone on here called it as soon as she started using that app. "Trying to get pregnant then..." it was clear to us, so it should have been clear to her own partner. Lack of respect from Rebecca and lack of responsibility from Steve. It's not her job to manage all the contraception, but it is her job to be upfront with her partner about whether or not she's actively trying to get pregnant!
