I just googled "luxury hotels in Tenerife" You can get some gorgeous ones for £300 a night right now. If I was earning "many thousands" a month and loved Tenerife as much as Dingle, you can bet that's where I'd be going rather than Parque La Paz all inclusive for £450 per person 10 days in term time
