Funnily enough I was listening to happy mum happy baby today and the latest episode is on speech and language (go give it a listen Beggy you might find it useful šŸ™„) apparently 1 in 5 children need speech and language therapy so itā€™s so common thereā€™s nothing ā€œwrongā€ with it at all. And the expert said the best time to get help is at nursery age prior to them starting school. Luckily for Roma sheā€™s a September baby, because if she was born 10 days earlier sheā€™d have been starting school in two years time which would have been a worry, hopefully within the next 3 years she will get some support with this. The expert also said itā€™s not necessarily about the childā€™s use of words, but itā€™s also about their ability to understand, listen and follow instructions (as many of you have already said). If anyone is looking for a bit of additional advice Iā€™d definitely check it out.
Oh absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. My child was a talker but struggled forming certain sounds, we tried so hard with him at home and nursery but it didn't get better. We sought help from SLT and after a few months of regular sessions, he nailed it! Sometimes you need specialist help and there is absolutely no shame in that whatsoever! Quite the opposite actually.

Romas new outfit on with dirty Converse - didn't she buy her Converse which were too big, these might be new Vinted ones šŸ˜

Awful, just awful watching Roma šŸ˜žšŸ™.. I agree with you All, so terrible to listen to her.

Our son was delayed in All areas, but at least we acknowledged/confronted our situation - why are they not doing something. To be talking to Roma like she understands and can reply - Rebecca, when I think I can't abide you any more, you show this. You are an utter disgrace.
Her nappy in the ā€™chattingā€˜ video is gross! Obvs been on for hours šŸ¤¬šŸ¤¬

What I find mad is she's already had one kid (Alfie) who by her own admission didn't say a word until he was 3, after that didn't start speaking coherently until he was about 6 or 7 and she got recommended to take him to a speech therapist by a teacher which she obviously HATED and found upsetting and a personal attack.

Woody granted, was slightly better, if I'm remembering correctly, not exactly advanced or an early talker but was making some sounds by the time he was about 2 and a half that sometimes were discernible and other times were not. However, SURELY being a "mummy influenza" bog is exposed to many kids similar ages to her own and she would know that even Woody was probably a bit behind in the grand scheme of things compared to other kids but not as alarmingly so as Alfie. I know every child is different but one of my friends baby's at 10 months old I'd say knew a good 20/30 words (hi, bye, yeah, no, thanks, mama, dada, doggy etc) and can put a couple together on occasion which Woody although a better speaker than Alfeh, wasn't doing until much later.

Taking all the above into account and given how personally insulted Dingle felt about the suggestion of speech therapy for Alfie, I find it so strange she's not doing EVERYTHING in her power to ensure that doesn't happen with Roma.. like watching phonics videos on youtube, getting her little books that make sounds, pointing out colours when they're out and about together.

It's like getting lung cancer while smoking 40 a day, being offended when you're offered chemo and then not long after back on the fags. She's a stupid stupid little girl mentally.

She got pregnant with Alfie to trap Beaver and isn't interested in being a good mother. She doesn't give a shiny tit about those kids other than the bare basics (VERY basic) . Roma is her favourite cos she's girl but she will lose interest once toddler tantrums start etc and she can no longer lug her around dangling out that awful carrier.
Rebecca is playing mummies and daddies and playing house. She's a stupid ignorant witch who loves herself. She is stunted emotionally and developmentally and her poor kids don't stand a chance. She hasn't the first clue on doing what's best for them and isn't interested. Not everyone is intellectually clever or academic but most people try their best with their kids and want them to be the best person they can be and pu their kids needs first. But not Rebecca. Beaver looks thick as 2 short planks as well. He only had a "managerial" position cos Daddy owned the company! Would LOVE to know what's he is doing now!!! Cos we all know he's working- although maybe current job has finished prior to the move as he seems to be around more?!

Iā€™m sure by that age my daughter was naming colours in books, animals , and could count to ten and have conversations with her siblings, that video was basically grunts in response to Beggy itā€™s quite scary that a HV hasnā€™t picked this up at a review but as a mother , third time round, you should know somethings not quite right there!

I think at her one year check she probably was meeting her milestones but at her 2 year check it will be blindingly obvious sheā€™s so behind now. Letā€™s hope she doesnā€™t slip through the net with them moving to another town. Begster just talks at her for content, she has no idea how to interact with any of her children.

I doubt a HV ever sees Roma. We moved house (to a different council area) when our son was 15months old and despite being registered with the new surgery, never saw one of their HV's. I was very aware of their absence as I expected they would contact us as new residents even if just from a safeguarding perspective. Beggy won't go to them as it'd impact on mama's matcha time, getting HER steps in, wearing slutty clothes in front of the magic mirror and putting corned beef in the slow cooker for 8hrs.

Oh and it's not looking like house move day. Glad of that as I'm at a wedding tmw and would be gutted to miss the big move lol!

What did Steve once say to someone who messaged them out of concern? Theyā€™ve got 3 kids, they know what theyā€™re doing? Something like that šŸ˜ The absolute arrogance of the big bloodhound. My 6 year knows how to be a better parent than those 2 muppets.

Living in the middle of nowhere I wonder how involved the health visitor is. One of my boys had problems with some speech, because he had hearing issues caused by glue ear. Our HV along with the nursery were brilliant, he saw a speech therapist. We along with nursery helped him practice exercises set by the therapist, within 6 months the issue was sorted. His glue ear naturally rectified itself when his ear drum perforated (2yrs old)because of the glue ear he's nearly 23 yrs old and has had no further hearing problems

They may have 3 kids but both of them are incompetent as parents . Things may improve now his mum will be closer but beaver and beggy will always be useless

That's the thing with the real Steve just how narrow minded and meat headed he really is, he's a liability himself

I'm not at all surprised hes been all but fazed out from her YouTube because we all know behind the scenes he holds views that don't align with the modern world he's bad for her 'brand'

She is as bad of course but she knows how to play the game but in my opinion more than once we've seen the real her as bad as him case in point (and I'll never forget it from many years ago when Alfie was little) was her saying she was DISGUSTED at the suggestion of her child being either autistic or Downs syndrome following from her receiving DMs from concerned followers, she was livid !
'How dare you say he's not perfect' were her exact words totally forgetting that she had an audience of mums who will love their perfect children who are autistic or their perfect child who has downs.

It was telling to say the least, like those things happen to other children not THEIR perfect children so how dare you kinda thing .

I hate this response, its always from people who have made absolute messes of being a parent. My mother in law would forever say, I've had 3 kids you know I know what I'm doing! Erm no you kept 3 kids alive thats about it there's nothing more that you could be credited for haha

If they don't move in the next week (seems like that's what they are planning), will the boys be shipped off to mama beaver's to start their new schools after half term... I could imagine them just dropping them off there and letting grandma deal with taking them to their new school, with no thought to what a big deal it is for them.

As a parent whoā€™s child has underlying issues whoā€™s currently has an urgent referral back to paediatrics to try and get a diagnosis as his behaviour has gotten worse and itā€™s now affecting both school and home life I took him to the doctors in tears and they were amazing referral went straight through as urgent and if I needed anything at all just to phoneā€¦ as a parent we can only do so much but if you know thereā€™s something wrong and you choose to ignore it youā€™re not a parent!

Thereā€™s FA about Roma thatā€™s ā€œWILD šŸ¤Ŗā€ she just doesnā€™t comply with sitting still to suit Beggy. Hereā€™s an idea hunnipot, put the kid in childcare for 2 mornings a week and go on your B&M hauls then!

Imagine thinking your child is WiLd for wanting to use her legs šŸ«  duck sake man. The wee tot canā€™t speak to let you know, but her body language and behaviour is trying to tell you something, Rebecca!

How silent was that reel as well?! Apart from ā€œsit downā€ šŸ„ŗ
