Covered in faeces would be abhorrent but itâs come from somewhere. Perhaps the girl was soiled and the parents had not brought the supplies to keep her clean and dignified such as a change of clothes, continence pads etc. This is basic personal care and the hospital of all places wouldâve had changing facilities. Leaving people in their own waste leads to skin breakdown and sores which can be very hard to heal. So maybe not covered in faeces, but I would hazard a guess that there were instances where the care provided by the parents was woefully neglectful.
This really pinpoints everything that makes me so uncomfortable about the accusation in that report. Authorities were clearly uneasy about that childs level of care.

Well played to the person at the health board who pulled the old 'we'll touch base next week on that one' on her before they got off. And what an alienating arsey response to a perfectly nice reply. I think the soiling had to have happened regularly in health and education settings. Along with other things or behaviours from the parents which would cause alarm. It's also disturbing that they didn't catheterise the poor child or teach them how to do it. It might not be the only medical procedure they didn't bother with.
I mean if weâre speaking honestly one look through her tweets would be enough for me personally to call her parenting into question. How little respect for your childâs dignity and privacy must you have to plaster their intimate toileting needs all over the internet?

Thereâs definitely more to it than she lets on. I would not be at all surprised if the professional consensus was that this high needs girl having 9 younger siblings (some of whom also have additional needs) was contributing to the sliding in the standard of care her parents could realistically provide for her. I bet you any money Reann is doing the olâ narcissistic-rewriting-history thing rather than facing up to the fact sheâs made some terrible decisions, sheâs a tit and self-centred parent, and her kid was removed from her care with good reason.
Youâre so right about the disregard for their dignity. A is nearly 18 years old, and her mother is sharing private documents publicly about her soiling herself. I donât know many 17 year old young women who would appreciate that.
