God her newest video was just sad, but inevitable. If you start watching any YouTuber early enough it's only a matter of time before they mention in passing that they might want lip filler, then they get their lips done. Then teeth, then boobs, then it's just a free for all. Makes me so so concerned for girls growing up nowadays, they have to watch every influencer that starts out looking like an actual human being point out and correct every single 'non-perfect' feature on their body that once made them relatable.
What's even more sad is it seems to be a taboo these days not to be body confident? How long has Rachel been preaching that she loves her figure and her boobs? Giving tips on body confidence? And what's worse is her spinning it as 'I love myself, I'm happy with my teeth but I could be happier, so I'm going to get them done." Which is literally the most damaging way to justify it, as every young girl watching will think well I absolutely hate myself so there must be something wrong with me, so I defo need to fix myself as well.
Also conspiracy theory but I reckon she's thinking of getting lipo, as if you were just on a fitness/weight loss journey you wouldn't wanna set the bar too high for yourself with the whole "hello everyone yes I'm TRANSFORMING I'm going to LOSE WEIGHT in my 2020 WEIGHT LOSS TRANSFORMATION". I think she's making sure everyone knows she's started working out so she could potentially get lipo and pass it off as weight loss
