It’s all me, me , me. No mention of Lynsey Bennett who still has a major battle ahead of her.
So she’s on to say she’s upset about the year anniversary- but drinking tinnies on a bus with z listers is fine on the 6 month anniversary. And of course the appropriate thing to accompany a story about how she’s dreading her late husbands anniversary is a swipe up... I’m sorry, that caused me to unfollow, that made me sick.
I’d say the only think Daniels anniversary represents to her is the fact that she will begin to lose pity, her story is beginning to fade, the reason she set up the page is fading into into the background.
There are plenty in her position who had to pick themselves up, dust themselves down and to go work a week after their husbands death, children or no children.
Maybe it’s time Rachel stood on her own two feet and went out and got a job. She got all she could financially out of Daniel while he was alive. She herself said he did everything- minded the kids, built the house, did electrical stuff, did made the money, paid the bills, booked the holidays....
Then she milked his death, Got all the sympathy which drove the swipe ups etc. He’s now dead a year, RIP, and maybe people will start to think it’s time she got on with things and stopped expecting to be given a free ride in life. I’m not trying to put a time limit on grief, I know everyone is different and I can’t say when she should feel ok.
But it is maybe time that she stopped pumping his death for sympathy and sales.
Using his gravestone story to have a swipe up is sick. That said someone said she turned an anniversary post into a swipe up or collab or something before so maybe I’m expecting too much in expecting her to go and do an honest days work.
