I had a nosy at those 2 accounts she met with yesterday. They do seem to do stuff with their kids so I think the friendships will be short lived when they realise what a crap parent she is. They surely must see the difference in development between W and their babies (who appear to be actual lockdown babies). Rach must be able to see it too 🙁

Is it like Tinder for Instatwats? "Unless you've got at least 20 threads on Tattle I'm not interested"
Some of them are super savvy about their industry connections, others will tag anyone in that has a bigger following. I think if I was reliant on income from my Instagram, I’d need a full financial disclosure from Rachael before I tagged her in. It’s a little bit risky business wise because she’s not transparent. I’d have to ask 🤷🏻‍♀️

Long time lurker but had to come on to reiterate the “lockdown baby?” comments… W is nearly 2 isn’t he, and born 7/8 months before the first lockdown?!

In terms of W’s delayed development, I am taken aback by the lack of support he is receiving from his parents. It could be a case of things going on “behind the scenes” but I find this hard to believe as everything they do is plastered across Instagram.

This only leads me to think that R must be embarrassed, ashamed or in denial about W’s development. My son is 3 and his delayed development was picked up at his 2 year check, and by his very supportive nursery that he has been attending 3 times a week since he was just under one. He does speech therapy which we do privately as the NHS waiting list was so long due to covid. He’s also been referred to be assessed for possible autism. We are doing everything that we can to help and support him because THAT IS WHAT PARENTS DO RACH.

I find R’s apparent lack of awareness nothing short of shocking and surely this constitutes as neglect (maybe I’m wrong?). Hopefully W will have his 2 year check soon and things will be picked up. But if they checks are still being done over the phone due to covid, assume R will just tell them everything is fine and totally lush babes.

I wonder this. She can't be that much in denial, and it's not like he's her first. Yes, the lock downs will have affected a lot of kids in different ways, but my friends daughter is the same kinda age and although she missed out on toddler groups to start with, she was only shy for about half an hour and then off happily playing, chatting with other kids the same age.

Bear in mind that even during lockdown they had every man and his dog traipsing through the house (Rachey's paid mates, all the tradesmen doing the work on the house etc), he's been palmed off to other people left, right and centre (Emily, Stabby Jo, the school mum who looked after him while her and Joyce were on the poverty porn tour). He's seen plenty of different people outside of the immediate family, plus he's had days out at the beach, the zoo etc. Unfortunately the pandemic has given Racquet a handy excuse to just write him off as a "lockdown baby" when in reality there are a lot of children who have had a very different experience to Wilby and don't seem to struggle as much as he has been. Her and PC Pigeon Legs act like they're a pair of teenagers with their first baby, despite having had 5 kids between them previously, I think it's clear that neither of them were very involved in parenting their kids at a young age, they have absolutely no idea.

Starting to notice a pattern here, what have they got to hide? This was a few weeks ago, covering up Joyce's hand with the heart everytime he moved it. I watched another story where she is throwing Wilby onto the bed and the sleeve is pulled down on that arm. Then again it could be nothing🤷🏻‍♀️

Probably embarrassed and covering up all the shite tattoos

I’ve just rewatched the bed throwing, and I don’t know about you, but that makes me so uncomfortable that one sleeve is up and one is down. It’s either one of the other

I'll be watching with huge interest to see how this all pans out but yes there is a regulator for CIC's : Complaints procedure - Office of the Regulator of Community Interest Companies - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) which is great news.
The remit for that is super narrow and they make it clear that any investigation would be rare. In Raqs case I genuinely believe from what is put there, that it would get signposted to the Local Safeguarding Children's Board (or equivalent) for any safeguarding concerns or police for any fraud concerns

I think you're right there and it's unlikely women will be referred there but my biggest concern is that there may be some women following her who might think she can help them when she can't. She's been so vague about what they're offering that she may well have women coming in who are in crisis and who think she can offer them safety, or get them into a refuge (because, you know, she has been known to get 6 women a week into refuge) and what is she going to do then?

I really think it would be helpful if, instead of posting pic after pic of the all the pretty things they're doing, and congratulating herself on what a marvellous human she is, she actually clearly outlined exactly what they're going to be offering to remove any ambiguity. She's got a huge following and there may well be women in that following who will risk everything to get to her in the belief that she will be able to help them.
100% agree. The vagueness ONLY works in her favour to not commit to anything. Doesn't benefit the people who will be accessing the service who should be her priority, who she is stringing along by not clarifying when people post saying she's opened a bloody refuge 🤦🏻‍♀️😫

Not according to her as she so very delightfully decided to tell 224k followers that her, her 16 year old and her 12 year old all started their periods on the same day.

I'm sure two young girls love that this is broadcast across the gram

(I'm also very aware she's probably lying about it which makes her even more of a head, using that for content.)
Not only the same day, they all started within three hours of each other! I’m obviously doing something wrong as my daughters obviously don’t hide that they are on their period but neither do they check in with with an exact time when it happens 🙄
I bet the reason all the kids go away on a Wed night is so they can get a tit in peace without worrying about it ending up on Instagram. I bet they all bung themselves up with eggs thurs-tues then binge on prunes for a relaxing 2 hour 💩 on a wed night. Be kinds boyfriend is hopefully training as a plumber so you can dislodge the Boulder she produces round his 🤢

They dress Wilby in a really strange way. He looks like he's massive for his age so would look better in conventional outfits rather than the 'quirky' items they put him in.

God I've just read my last post back and I'm giving myself EmPen vibes 😂 promise I'm not, can't afford a holiday!

For what it's worth I've seen the impact meaningful CICs make. With everything, there are people who exploit the system (Torbay seems to be rife with it!). It feels like nobody really wants to take ownership or responsibility for CICs as they can be so varied in terms of who they're supporting and how, which is *I think* why the signposting for concerns happens and why there isn't a one size fits all approach for complaining about a CIC - it depends what aspect you're complaining about. I have this really bad gut feeling that if one of us were to complain about it, we would need more than screenshots from social media with what we know so far. (I don't agree with that - if it exposes the concerns then it should be enough and things might change in the future once the centre is actually open as we will see whether she is exposing vulnerable people or confidential info). Someone who had accessed the service might be better placed to complain, but my issue with that is that vulnerable people can't always see when they're not being protected if they've been, essentially, groomed to believe they can trust those who are supporting them. I just really hope they've all got their level 3 safeguarding training which is current and up to date and they keep media consent forms outlining how their info and images can be used on public social media/websites. Service users can change or revoke these permissions at any point too and you have to act - so highlights etc would be an issue. Someone who accessed the centre could also complain to the ICO if they felt their information wasn't stored appropriately or being used how it was intended/what they agreed to

Poor little boy , the quirky Etsy type clothing he is dressed in (nude coloured leggings tucked in tops, rompers and tops with his name on ) would make any child of nearly 2 look like a giant and the babyish outfits look so at odds with the little old man haircut they insist on giving him .

So is she sharing that discount code or just pointing out that she's ordered a box? She's not really thought it through.
