Yeah it sounds like JMF is outwardly accepting the medical evidence. He could walk here. I think they were both involved, but I’m not sure they’ve made a strong enough case it was both of them
I guess the jury will need to decide if he allowed it. But I believe JV admitted today that the more extreme videos, he didnt show JMF? I'm struggling to keep track to be honest! However JMF was there with the cot incident and JV said he was the one who moved him off the bars. So he at least saw that.

I know this might sound a bit silly and I’ll be torn apart for it but I have a feeling that JV is abusive to lots of people around him - including JMF. I don’t know why but there’s been a few things that have come up, including this that are red flags. Not saying it’s an excuse for JMF or anything like that, I’ve just got the vibe

And also his coming home story is a lie too as he says Preston was sat up being sick and it was just ‘parental instinct’ that he needed to go to hospital. Evidence shows Preston was probably already dead when JMF got home. He knows exactly what went on.
I am still leaning towards JMF not giving evidence especially once he sees prosecution cross examination. His KC did a good job making all the questions about him not knowing anything. He won’t last 5 minutes under cross examination.

I agree. I fail to believe that JMF didn’t know at least some of what was going on but unfortunately I just don’t think the evidence is there to prove it.
A few thoughts. As someone already said, why tf were they repeatedly putting him down with a bottle when he had reflux? Could they not even be bothered to feed him? No wonder he had belly pains and was always being sick. Milk time is bonding time as well, why would you miss out on that? Also the “CPR”, I know some people freeze in the moment but honestly he was a teacher and safeguarding lead, he would know how to do CPR on a child. “I did it 3 or 4 times”, hardly an effort made then was it? “I put my finger in his throat to get the sick up”- tf did you! What a load of tit. Throwing the nappy out the window, sounds like this was their standard practice, was the reality of a baby having a poo so disgusting that it had to be immediately thrown out of their “show home”? We will have to trust in the jury to see through JMF as well, his barrister is doing a good job of pointing out all the times he wasn’t there, didn’t know what happened, hadn’t seen the videos/pictures, moved Preston off the cot bar. If they are still a couple that should count for something. I think he will get the cruelty conviction because they didn’t seek immediate help for the broken elbow but I’m not sure about the rest (I don’t believe him for a minute but the jury have to be sure beyond reasonable doubt).
JMF gives me Hindley vibes. He clearly knows there's a lot less that can be pinned on him and that JV is enough of an obvious piece of work that he can plead abuse. But I suspect he was well aware and more than likely an active participant.

Can you imagine if someone you worked with said something like that to you about their baby’s genitals? Even more so if you knew said baby had been adopted. The excitement and the fact it’s reported he said it often

Completely agree - JV sounds like a complete nightmare and narcissist. The abusive texts he sent to JMF blaming him for his plane being delayed really stood out. I can imagine the people around him often felt the need to placate him and pander to his behaviour because they were afraid of the consequences and constantly walking on eggshells to avoid setting him off.
FYI - not excusing JMF in any of this
One thing that’s stood out to me reading back over the blog is that multiple hospital staff have commented that neither man had shoes on in the hospital. JMF in his interview said he grabbed his shoes on the way out. There’s no way he could have driven to the hospital barefoot.
