I’m 9 weeks with our third. My youngest turns 9 this year, so there’ll be quite a big gap between him and this baby compared to the two years between him and his older brother. Was feeling fine up until this week with minimal symptoms aside from the bloating/constipation, but now the nausea has hit me like a wave. Don’t think the current heat is helping with that either. 🤢

I’m in a similar position to you , my eldest is 7 and youngest is 5 and I’m 22 weeks !

don’t envy you with first trimester symptoms in this heat !!

For those who drank the raspberry leaf tea, do you think it helped? Looking to hopefully have a VBAC so researching as much as I can and see so many mixed reviews on it 🙈

I started drinking it at around 34 weeks in my second pregnancy as I wanted a VBAC . Whether it helped or not it’s hard to say , but I did manage to have a VBAC and am hoping for another vaginal birth this time around . I also did some of the stretching massages . I did tear a bit but compared to the recovery from a c section it was bliss

Do you recommend any brands? I'm 35/36 weeks and need to get my butt drinking and stretching 😂

Hot Tea Mama (I’m pretty sure that’s what it’s called) is what I used ! You can get it from Holland and Barrett or on Amazon

My first two pregnancies I was massive in the height of summer (August and September babies) so I feel for anyone in their third trimester now especially with the heatwaves. 🥵

I’ve always had big boobs but they’re already so much bigger at this early stage 😭 I really need to invest in a couple of good bras as mine are so uncomfortable now, does anyone have any recommendations please?

I got the body invisibles non wired nursing bra from M&S as I don’t want to have to rebuy once baby is here and they are super comfy & reasonably priced x

Bedtime used to be my favourite part of the day… now I hate it. No position is comfortable 😭😭😭

I miss my pregnancy pillow even now at nearly 10 months post partum. Not that it made me fully comfortable and it was a devil in the heat with its synthetic cover but it was definitely the only way I managed to get any rest at all. I took it on a weekend away (sort of a babymoon) such was my love for it!

Does anybody have any good tips for dealing with leg cramps? I was up all night last night with repetitive cramps in both legs and now I’m absolutely exhausted and struggling to get through the day.

Have you tried magnesium ? Either as a supplement or a cream , it helped me a lot

also I am struggling with sleep too , so solidarity to everyone who is . Even with my beloved pregnancy pillow I still wake up periodically with hip pain 😭

Oh I’m struggling with this too! It’s like every night! I’m at the midwives today so I’ll have to ask them about it. I’ll report back if I get advice 💕

I’m a million days pregnant, heavy af, sweating out of every orifice and I think my OH is being insufferably annoying on purpose and now he’s butthurt because I called him out for being annoying

I do remember getting VERY wound up at my husband because he can’t tie shoelaces unless he is wearing the shoes, and even then it’s slightly questionable, and I needed help with my shoes in the end and he was hopeless. Bought a long shoehorn and stopped untying them, and gave up on the shoes that my feet were a bit too wide for 😆

I’ve been getting these too! I remember having them in previous pregnancies but not as early as this. Will need to give the magnesium a try. Hope it eases up for you x

Honestly, that’s valid! It would wind me up too 😂

I’m currently like mate, we’re approx two weeks away from a planned section, could you CRACK ON because I am sweating and the sound of you playing chess with any downtime you have is going to send me into an almighty fit of rage. Add insult to injury my dog is now experiencing a phantom pregnancy, so I feel like we’re both fed up of him 😂

The nausea combined with this heat may actually be my cause of death.
Also big commiserations to anyone heavily pregnant in this weather; my first was an end of June baby and the last few weeks we so so awful and uncomfortable
