So sorry! Sounds like an awful time! Out of interest where are you itchy? I’d read hands and feet are the ones to watch but I’m itchy everywhere other than my hands and feet. Worse at night. Sounds like I need to tell my midwife!
Please do. Mine started on my arms, legs and ankles. It's not just feet and hands. Mine is also in the day sometimes not just at night. I'm on urso and so far it doesn't seem to be working. May need a higher dose.

I would tell them. I don't have it but they got me a blood test same day for general itching, so worth a check!

We have the gender scan on Friday, really debating whether to find out in the room, after with just my husband or wait until we have a cake from a cake baker.
It’s like I am battling with myself 😂

I enjoyed finding out in the room with my first and I’ll be doing the same this time! I wanted to make sure it was the right gender they said so I made them show me and explain it all properly

I'm 15w and have experienced some pain in my low back/hips while sleeping for the last week or so. I have not been exercising (usually pilates). Could just exercise help me? Has anyone go to a PT while pregnant? Is it worth it?

Is this a private scan? I ask as I was told at the NHS one they won't write it down and verbally tell you in the room?

I was doing prenatal pilates until the day I gave birth and I’m 1000% sure it was the reason my birth was pretty quick and kinda easy (as much as birth can be “easy”). So I would really really recommend it if you can! I will literally be gifting vouchers for pilates to my pregnant friends and I think it was the best money I spent in pregnancy. The place I went to was extremely professional and it taught us how to breath through the pain, all about birthing positions, how to relax pelvic floor etc. and I gained a lot of mobility. Also working out on the ball every day in the third trimester is very helpful and relaxing. Stay active, you’ll feel so much better! I was really not in the mood to go to the class in the last week or two before due date but was always so happy and felt so much better after it was finished :D

My NHS one they wrote it down because we were doing a reveal, but they caveated it with its never 100% accurate etc etc

The private clinic we went to sold scratch cards so we bought one and sat on a bench in the middle of the city centre and scratched it off. It was such a special moment for just the two of us and I’ll always remember it whenever I see that bench. 🥰

Agreed, I bloody wish I’d done more exercise. 17 weeks post partum and my legs/hips/core are still sooo weak.

I've been lazy because I've been out of town and not going to my regular classes. I surely do always feel better after them because I have a desk job.

It’s a private scan, I think I will ask them to write it down & we will pop for some dinner and read the envelope just the 2 of us
Just got to wait the whole day now til the appointment 😂😂

Hope everyone is doing okay 🥰

Between work and running around after my toddler, I usually do about 8,000-12,000 steps a day, I’m far too wiped out to exercise at the end of the day😩

Did anyone/is anyone doing this whole baby moon thing or is that just an instagram fallacy? TikTok has suddenly brought me all the Marrakesh content and whilst I’ve been twice and seen pretty much every landmark that’s ever been recommended ever within the medina walls, I do have a craving for the insane colours and sounds and smells and the bartering and the shopping before my JuniorDragName gets here. Also the Riad we’ve stayed in before doesn’t allow children under 12 so we have one last chance 🤣. But, last time I went we both contracted E. coli and I was seriously ill for a long time so I’m sliiiightly nervous about it.

I also really want to go to Türkiye and hark at me thinking I’m not staring down the barrel of a massive decrease in wages when I go off on mat leave 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Definitely! We went to Türkiye when I was 16 weeks ish and it was glorious. As someone who’s recently traveled with a baby… seize your chance to do it now 🤣

We are going away to the island where we got married and I will be 28 weeks I can’t wait!!!!
I also went to Egypt when I was 10 weeks and did get poorly. Both times I’ve been to Morocco I had food poisoning so not sure if I’d go back there

Go on the holiday! You won’t have a ‘holiday’ again for years and years so bloody enjoy it! 😂

I was too ill with HG to have a baby moon, but we went on holiday with our son when he was four months old which was an absolute dream! I’d love to do the same again when this baby is a similar age, but having a two year old as well does make it that bit harder.
