it doesn’t sound silly at all! If it’s normal and consistent for you, I wouldn’t worry about it too much (easier said than done I know!). My first was a really active baby, posterior placenta, sounds very similar to your experience. Anything out of the ordinary for your baby I’d always get checked, even if just for the reassurance.Might sound silly to some but it's a genuine concern of mine. Is it normal for your baby to move too much? I have a posterior placenta and most of the day I'm feeling something. I barely get any rest I'm lucky to get 20 minutes here and there and even then there's a tiny wiggle inbetween. I've been unwell and inactive and still this is what it's like. I worry they aren't getting enough sleep in there, with my first placenta was anterior so I remember much more defined rest periods
Thank you, maybe this is normal for a posterior placenta. I must even feel little twitches in their sleep. I have read that they have something called active sleep too where they move but are asleep, I must just feel absolutely everything 🫣it doesn’t sound silly at all! there’s such a difference between anterior/posterior! As I said, I was posterior for my first but anterior with this baby and I’m constantly stressing that I don’t feel him much, but my first baby was just like yours.Thank you, maybe this is normal for a posterior placenta. I don't know if there is anything that can actually speed it up. Saying that my waters went early hours of the morning. That day I went for quite a long walk, bounced on my ball, napped and by 6pm that night my contractions started. Good luck, won't be long until you have your little one in your armsMy waters broke last night! Had it confirmed by hospital and lost my mucus plug this morning. I have until 2.15am tonight before I have to go in to be induced because of risk of infection. Only had mild cramping here and there I don’t think there’s any full contractions. Has anyone got any tips to speed this up to avoid an induction?
thank you!! Feels very surreal now that it’s actually happening. I went for a wee last night and when it happened I was stood there in shock like “now what”. Woke my husband up to tell him and he didn’t believe me because I was too calm!I don't know if there is anything that can actually speed it up. Saying that my waters went early hours of the morning. Exciting! I didn’t have an induction and same thing happened to me- went in after waters confirmed. I tried (lol) to stay calm, bounced on my ball, tried to walk around as much as I can, and tried to laugh a lot which sounds weird but it’s what kept me going- we watched Ali GMy waters broke last night! How exciting! Hope things are moving along for you now! Relax and don’t worry or put pressure on yourself about their 24h limits, you do not have to accept an induction! My waters broke last night! In my experience id say wait until that 20 week scan comes around tbhAnyone any good at the nub theory??
I paid for a private gender scan at 15 weeks, so you can find out a bit earlier than 20 weeks if you wish to do so!In my experience id say wait until that 20 week scan comes around tbh
I wouldn't trust anything else personally though there is a lot to be said for those first peek DNA gender blood tests even those can be "contaminated" by environmental factors.
Others may be able to give a better answer though.
Yeah definitly, I think that is way more reliable than the nub method the OP was asking about but tbh even though im due with my second very soon id actually not heard about looking at "nubs" on scans before lol.I paid for a private gender scan at 15 weeks, so you can find out a bit earlier than 20 weeks if you wish to do so!
I did post my scan picture on the nub theory Reddit, and they did guess right, but honestly it’s hard to say how accurate it is really when there’s a 50/50 chance anyway!Yeah definitly, I think that is way more reliable than the nub method the OP was asking about but tbh even though im due with my second very soon id actually not heard about looking at "nubs" on scans before lol.
