had my csection this morning at 36+1, as far as I know both me and baby are doing okay so far ! (so weird to not be pregnant anymore !!)

I had a bit of a meltdown and cry on the way to theatre because I was worried he would get taken away straight away to nicu but he’s not had to leave our side !

he’s had a couple of borderline results which they’ll keep checking on but this kid has been borderline for most the pregnancy so I’m never surprised

Baby boy was born as a lovely surprise on Tues. We are over the moon and can't quite believe it happened and he's ours.

A few little bumps along the way - epidural didn't work and ended up after 29 hours giving birth in theatre with forceps. I had to stay an extra night in hospital which has been tough, little boy just wouldn't settle and they wouldn't let me walk him around. At 3am they took pity finally (cause he was keeping the whole ward up) and took him to the nursery so I got a whole 1 hr 15 minutes of sleep before he came back. I'm delirious from sleep but wanted to let everyone know.

Went for my midwife appointment this morning and I’m 5!!!!!!!!!cm dilated without realising waiting in triage as after exam I’ve passed a bit of fresh blood and my BP is high but baby is finally on the way 🥹

Baby boy was born yesterday at 12:22am via forceps bless him. All looking good and healthy at 6lb9, even though all my measurements were saying baby would be 8lb+!!

Baby Jomble has arrived and is a beautiful little girl.
The birth was quite traumatic and I'm not ready to process it yet, but it's just so amazing that she's finally here. She's doing really well and I can't stop staring at her

Baby sushi arrived tonight I can’t believe I’m saying this but I had almost perfect delivery especially for a first birth. It took only 6 hours from the first contraction till baby was in my hands and I’m so proud how well I handled it because I’ve been treated for tokophobia and wanted an elective section but they are not possible in my country so I prepared like crazy and I think it all worked! I was constantly telling them to up my pain medicine, had epidural and gas but it helped a lot. Honestly I’m just so proud of myself and my little baby girl. 🥹

Baby Pixie arrived on Wednesday after a 52 hour labour! He is absolutely perfect and it was so magical to find out his gender from my husband. We had to stay in hospital until yesterday as he was a little jaundiced and my hormones were all over the place when we finally got to take him home. I can’t believe we get to keep him.

Baby K arrived after an extremely quick and dramatic birth on Friday . Most importantly we are both safe, now home from hospital and in a love bubble 🩷 hope everyone else’s pregnancies go smoothly xxx

Baby lurking arrived yesterday after flying into the world very quickly.. I feel like I’ve been hit by a double decker bus but high on life! Hope everyone is ok x

Baby101 arrived safely via elective c-section on Monday he is adorable!

I am VERY emotional. More emotional than I thought I would be. Breastfeeding is HARD. I’ve already decided to knock that one on the head. Hopefully things start to improve without that stress.

He’s a very gorgeous baby and I had a fantastic birth - exactly what I wanted.

I know I've not really posted on this thread and it's probably very late to start now haha. 40 weeks today and woke up feeling crampy with some slight browny coloured discharge. Roll on this evening after a few hours at soft play with my toddler (yes I know I'm mad but his dad did the majority of the running around ) and the contractions have started. Not entirely sure what the next few hours are going to bring but after a 45hr labour the first time round, I'm hoping it'll be much less than that!

Baby girl 🩷 arrived yesterday evening after a shorter but more intense labour. We hadn't found out the gender and apparently the look on my face when I was told she was a girl was an absolute treat as I was convinced we'd get another boy
Absolutely besotted though good luck to all mamas to be on here x

Baby girl made her arrival into the world at 9:55pm, weighing 7lb 2oz so they were bob on with her measurements

Went from 2cm to 7cm in four hours, then 7cm to 10cm in another four hours. No pain relief other than gas and air - surprised myself with that one I thought I’d be screaming the hospital down but it honestly was not as bad as everyone had been telling me up until they had to give a little cut to help me push her big head out

Had my early reassurance scan today! I thought I was 8 weeks but turns out I’m 8+5 heard little baby’s heart beating, it was the most magical thing

Baby Elisha was born this morning and we are in love

Chunky girl was 9lbs 1oz so I’m glad I opted for a section

Just cannot believe she is here and we’ve done it!

He has a very full head of hair and is my husband’s twin

Hiya lovelies just doing a little check in to say thanks for all the support and encouragement over the last few months of my pregnancy X

I'm now five days post partum, finally came home yesterday afternoon with our precious little girl
My heart feels full to bursting rn and seeing our big boy so besotted with his baby sister just makes it all the more worth while in the end

I am 6 weeks pregnant today so I am going to sit myself quietly in the corner. I know it’s very early days but this is my 4th pregnancy in 9 months and this is the furthest we’ve got feel like today is special.

I had posted a little while back about possible labour incoming and since have been a little occupied with baby mashedbanana!

Born at 40+4 (with absolutely no signs until bloody show at 10pm the night before she arrived!) and after almost 24 hours labour in total. My birth preference was minimal intervention, but after being blue lighted into hospital with a potential hemorrhage after being sent home at 2cm dilated 4 hours previously and 2 hours of pushing, I was offered either c-section or assisted delivery. She arrived at 100mph after an episiotomy and ventouse which actually hasn't been anywhere near as bad as I was expecting

Struggling with milk supply at the moment as we're ve been combi feeding but she is a little cracker and I've never felt so many emotions and so much love for anything in my entire life!
