I've got my 12 week scan next week and I'm so anxious. I am excited to see the baby again(we had a private scan at 7 weeks) but just so nervous that there could be something wrong!

Went for my midwife appointment this morning and I’m 5!!!!!!!!!cm dilated without realising 😆😆 waiting in triage as after exam I’ve passed a bit of fresh blood and my BP is high but baby is finally on the way 🥹

I absolutely hate scans. I’ve had two miscarriages so that hasn’t helped. Our only successful Scan was this time round at 6 weeks measuring perfectly and with a heartbeat.

I’ve got my next scan at the end of the month and I’m shitting it.

I’m lucky as I get scans every couple of weeks and the hospital have said I can come in anytime for a reassurance scan but the anxiety of going into hospital has stopped me and I don’t want to be there every week, it won’t change the outcome

Oh goodness! Hope it all goes well and baby arrives safely!

Someone told me my bump looked really low today 🙃
Which is not a very helpful comment when I’ve already been feeling pretty anxious about baby trying to arrive early as it is 😭
I’m not really sure if it does look lower, though husband is saying it does a bit, but maybe it doesn’t mean anything

I’m only 33+4, I noticed my boobs have leaked tiny amounts on a few occasions (not sure if this is just a common thing once you’ve had a baby before or if it can just happen this early???). And I’ve just had such fear the last week that my waters could break or leak at any moment.. spent the last few days just feeling constantly sick 🫠

I think all this could mean nothing really. With my first the waters started to leak at 36+5.. which is only really a few weeks away if we make it that far 😂

(watch me get nearer to 40 weeks this time and just feel fed up and annoyed 🤣)

Might not be any help whatsoever but I ‘leaked’ from my boobs very early in my last pregnancy which didn’t result in anything x

Some women just carry low! My first was extremely low from the start, whereas this baby seems to be up under my boobs🤣

Having a really rough sickness time and feeling sorry for myself. Rang the maternity triage and they said I need to be medically assessed first so need to go through 111. Finally got through to them to be told I’ll receive a call back in 6 hours. I’m now in my second HG pregnancy and know I just need some fluids, and it’s frustrating having to jump through so many hoops!

Ok can someone tell me if they’ve had the same thing happen to them.
I’m 9 weeks and yesterday I had what felt a bit like period pains in my lower uterus mainly on my right hand side. Kinda achy but also shooting pains.
It’s now eased but was quite prevalent yesterday. It was just once in a while.

Ive googled it which is always a mistake but I did read it could be the uterus expanding or/and ligaments stretching. But normally this happens in the 2nd trimester.

no other nefarious signs.
Anyone else experienced this? Thanks x

I had exactly the same but down the left side! I’m 18 weeks now but still get it in the same place if I cough, sneeze or stand up too quick. I assume it’s ligament pain

Thank you for replying. I’m hoping it’s just this 🙏 nothing else to report.

Baby K arrived after an extremely quick and dramatic birth on Friday 🥰. Most importantly we are both safe, now home from hospital and in a love bubble 🩷 hope everyone else’s pregnancies go smoothly 👶🏻 xxx

I fear I may spend a lot of time on here going ‘is this normal?’, forgive me/feel free to put me on ignore. I’m not exactly sporty and fit but a simple journey up my stairs is making me feel a bit short of breath as if I’ve been exerting myself a lot more than coming up my own stairs once. Is that normal? I will be 6 weeks tomorrow based on my last period. I was expecting this sort of stuff later on when there was a giant baby pressing on every organ I possess, but at the moment BabyDragName is the size of a sesame seed!

Totally normal for me and the first symptom of both my pregnancies! I sound like I’ve run a marathon after walking up the stairs

Yes I felt like I’d died from about 4/5 weeks 😂

Absolutely. I was so out of breath in my first trimester. Looking back it was probably my first symptom. I could run up the stairs no problem but suddenly I was wheezing just walking up. Until your placenta takes over that little sucker steals your oxygen.
