I'm not sure if my hair has grown, but it's super frizzy and puffy all the time. My skin is so bad too but I literally have no energy or motivation left by the end of the day for any proper skin care, so only got myself to blame I guess.

My skin went so bad with my pregnancy as well! With my first (which was a boy) it went super soft and clear then with my second (girl) my skin totally went to tit. I’d have massive sore cysts it was horrible! My skin looks quite nice atm now she’s out 🤣 My Mum always says ‘girls take your beauty’ bla bla and she says she had 3 girls and her beauty never came back haha

Might be a bit of a stretch with finances but if you can afford it I highly recommend a keratin hair treatment. I had mine done a month ago and it’s made my life sooo much easier. I have thick hair with a natural curl and if unless I style it, it’s frizzy and pouffy. I had this treatment done near me (£150) and it lasts for 4-6 months, I can let it air dry and it looks smooth and sleek. I love it as I’m so lazy, after I wash it I’d usually have to spend an hour drying and smoothing it to look decent. I’m going to get it done before baby comes just to take one thing off the daily list and hopefully mean I look a bit more presentable!

I've just gone and done something mental. New Sephora opening at my local shopping centre with this big grand opening this morning with goody bags for the first 500 customers, since being pregnant I just can't seem to sleep in past 6am, so despite working late shift this month I thought sod it, I'll get up at my other early shift time and head over, grab a goody bag, have a bit of a pamper which I think all us pregnant ladies deserve right?! Doesn't open til 10am, I got there for 7.30am with my airpods and a book ready to wait. I lasted 30 seconds in the already very very long queue before being told all the goody bags are long gone and people camped out overnight for them. Now back home on the sofa with a brew, watching Married at First Sight Australia, wondering how early I can get away with inhaling some Krispy Kreme donuts.

There is no limit to how early you can inhale Krispy Kreme donuts

Are you serious!!! I literally said to my boyfriend last night “500 people aren’t even gonna turn up”

He’s taking me for a shopping spree there on Monday.

The security guard said there were already about 1000 people in the queue! It was back to the little corridor thing to the carpark exit round the corner where virgin holidays is 😳
I really need to do some shopping at the traf today before going away for the weekend tomorrow but worried there'll be queues from every carpark by 10am if I go back 🙃

Very very weird behaviour!!! It’s a shop OPENING. I’ve just seen a tik tok of a girl saying she got there for 5am. But I am v excited.

First time during this pregnancy I’ve actually second guessed myself if it was the right thing to do. I knew it wouldn’t be easy when we already have a toddler, but I’m barely functioning as it is with the sickness an my toddler is genuinely feral. I’m overwhelmed & boiling cos of the weather and he just wants to sit on me, or on my head. Stuff I usually love is really getting to me today 🤦🏼‍♀️

I think I'll be 38+5 now cos they had me quite close to 40 weeks. They've said that's with scope to move it closer again depending on what my growth scans are like and also due to my waters breaking at 37 weeks with my first.
They deffo are reluctant to book any sooner than 39 weeks though if there is no medical need, she told me that yesterday
Mine said they won’t do any earlier than 39 because of the risk of them having to stay in. I don’t really understand though as 37 weeks is full term :( just wish it could be slightly earlier as I’ve been so anxious (and in turn always in triage!)

I feel like mine is quite frizzy too and dry maybe, it keeps going quite static and I don’t know how to stop it!
My skin thankfully hasn’t been too bad despite barely even washing my face in the beginning. I’ve started back on dermatica prescription to try and get back into a proper skin routine. I have noticed I am getting some little brown patches like I did last pregnancy.

They told me the same. Lung development is better at 39 and because baby isn’t squeezed coming through birth canal they’re more likely to experience breathing problems already.

In my case, if baby gets so big they’re likely to come before they might do it earlier because then the safety risk to me becomes worse than the risk baby would have a problem - so pretty much, all done on a balance of risk but all being equal, the optimum for baby is to come 39+

Is it normal to feel so sick after having the glucose drink? I feel so queasy. And I’m not normally a sicky person.

Any tips for getting a breech baba to flip?
I’ve been advised to look at the spinning babies site. Midwife said daily walks, sitting upright forward and open and stretching. She did also say ultimately it’s up the baby and if they’re comfy they might not move! I’ve still got 6/7 weeks to get mine turned 😬

Annoyingly my consultant has already said to me it’s incredibly likely he will come earlier as he’s off the chart in terms of growth, but if he is they’ll just do an emergency one. I think I’m going to have to ask again when I’m next in clinic.

Thankyou. I'm having a look! I feel like there's no harm in trying stuff but accepted they may just not turn at all!
I only have 3 weeks haha

My massage lady offers this therapy, funnily I googled it and there’s even an NHS document on google saying it’s worth a try!
On the subject of massages, are pregnancy ones good? Do you lie on your side and do they massage as hard?
