Try adverts, some nice bits there and if you search ‘all counties’ some lovely bits if you’re willing to pay postage
I do go on it but it wrecks my head and sure I don't really need much ☺ I mainly opt for the county I'm in as I hate paying postage. 😂

I know what you mean haha my partner travels around the place for work so I do see what’s going when I know his schedule 😂😂

How do we feel about new/full moons and it effecting pregnant women? 😅 I work in a nursing home and always used to say a full moon had a huge effect on some patients, they’d be out of sorts, behavioral issues etc and I know midwives to say they saw a rise in births too.. I was born during a new moon and my mother swears there were about 20 women who gave birth that same day 😅😂 old myths and such just interesting to hear thoughts and opinions !

I was watching call the midwife and they actually mentioned it on there too. I've never paid much attention to the moon though.. when's the next new moon?

Anyone else feel like they need a wee 24/7 at about 33 weeks? Literally just been and need another. No pain or burning when I go so not a UTI I don’t think. Just babies head seems to love rolling around in my pelvis

Tonight! 😂😂
Love call the midwife, was half way through it for the second time when I found out I was pregnant and couldn’t watch it after that 😂

It’s a fact! Especially when mercury is in retrograde! I used to work in a&e until recently and if I was going to a night shift with a full moon I’d bless myself 🤣🤣🤣

Had a very crampy day yesterday which has amounted to nothing. She's head down and engaged but I guess just not interested in coming out. I'm giving up now - no more ball, no more pumping, just going to relax and enjoy my last two days of pregnancy before induction. I'm going to make a dent in my sofa and in a bar of Cadburys marvellous creations and play the Sims 😆

I've got my 12 week scan appointment for in the new year.
The midwife didn't listen when I told her I have a short cycle and has done the dates based on a 28 day cycle.
She said they do the scan at 12 weeks and 6 but by my dates I'll be 13 weeks and 3 when I have my scan.
Same happened last time and I nearly missed out on having the combined screening because my baby measured 14 and 2. After a lot of wiggling, remeasuring and a second sonographer they managed to measure him at 13 and 6 so I could have the screening.
I don't understand why they cut it so close with the cut off date for the combined screening 🤷🏼‍♀️

Originally I wanted my scan before Christmas but I'm actually glad it is after just in case there is any bad news at least it won't ruin Christmas and that's actually helped to calm my anxiety around it a bit...

My section has been brought forward, and have another scan in a week. Was told if it wasn’t Xmas they’d probably even get them out sooner 🫣 t-17 days until eviction 🤞🏼🎉

Oh wow, can I ask why?
They’re estimating weights at 5lb each, not including sacs and placenta so they’re really smushed inside for space! Looking at the monitor today was hard make out anything because they’re getting so big!

Someone in our NCT group has just announced they're calling their baby the name we're planning on using (and told them we were using before they'd even discussed names!) for their boy. Thankfully I don't like them and have 0 plans on keeping contact and we're using the name for a girl which makes it more unique, for boys it's like the 4th most popular name in the country. Still annoying 😆

How exciting!!! I’d pay good money to be told how many days I’ve left. Every twinge is driving me mad already 🤣 I know when it happens you know that’s what’s happening but I’m a v impatient person lol will you be 37w when they deliver?

37+3! It’s crazy tho because my gyno really wanted to take me sooner, Xmas being the only put off. And he’s guessing a 20% chance of me going naturally but I was in such a daze I didn’t ask about his statistics 😂

Has anyone tripped over and fell whilst pregnant ? Just fell at home (what an idiot). Landed on my knees, bump was cushioned by my thigh and I didn’t hurt it. Called triage for advice and they said no bleeding or pain and if I’m feeling baby move - literally can feel her now, they aren’t concerned. But I know now I’m going to be an anxious wreck all night. Husband is at work tonight too 🥹

Go for your own piece of mind. I fell at 11 weeks, landed on my a and was told the same but couldn’t settle regardless

Agree with @cmcdb, go for your own peace of mind. They won't turn you away.
