Anyone allergic to going to work Christmas parties? I feel nearly obliged to turn up but the idea of finger food I'm unlikely able to have and a few drinks is not my idea of a good time
Hate going, always have. My team Christmas lunch is at a restaurant without vegan options so I'm not going to that. I'm on holiday for my department one. What a shame! 😂

Well ladies, still in hospital. Been here since Monday. As I need to have 24 hours with no bleeding before they can look to discharge me. Happy that baby is well and healthy. Having lots of monitoring on her. Just so frustrating that there’s no explanation as to where the bleeding is coming from and a couple of times they’ve thought I’m
Having contractions but then I haven’t felt anything!
Had a wobble this morning, up since 4:30am, and panicking about it all. But cannot praise the midwives here highly enough. They’re so kind and reassuring and if I want to hear baby they will put me on monitoring straight away.

10.5 weeks and still so nauseous all day, with a lot of dry heaving and only some vomiting. Someone tell me it will end soon and I’ll feel back to myself 😩.

You should do!!! I found when I was 9/10 weeks that’s when my vomiting peaked, I’m 14 weeks now and it’s eased off a tad, I had one random bad day of vomiting last week but other than that it’s nowhere near as bad! The heartburn i’m having on the other hand though… 😆

I’ve been suffering badly with heartburn again this time around. Rennies/gaviscon hasn’t been cutting it so I finally contacted my doctors yesterday. Guess who’s going to be skipping to the pharmacy soon to pick up the holy grail prescription 🤣

It's honestly the best thing since sliced pan. You will regret not going for it sooner. I've been on it since about 16 weeks and havent looked back. I'm 28 now and not a hint of it and i suffered pre pregnancy with it too.

Agggggh I am having such a fight with myself. We have the maxi cosi pebble 360 car seat & base which is all in immaculate condition from my first born (2 years ago) but I really am regretting not getting a lie flat car seat as I feel like this baby will be in a car seat a lot more than first born was as we will be out and about more with things she has on & her starting nursery. Will cost about £550 to get a lie flat car seat tho as will need a new base as well! Trying to tell myself if isn’t justifiable!
Sorry just needed to vent it all out as my partner won’t listen 🤣

Straddle the two threads as I’m now in hospital. Started wetting myself last night around 9.30pm and kept an eye on it until 5am when I woke up husband and told him it was time to go into hospital. Turns out waters are going so instead of the lovely elective I had planned at 39 weeks, he may now be coming tomorrow at 35+3.

Pros: he’s already chunky, he’s also breech so it would be good to get him out, means I can eat pate and drink at Christmas.
Cons: he’s early and may need help, I miss fake Christmas on Saturday which is going to be amazing, it’s all very dramatic and I don’t like it.
Observations: my bump is deflating like a sad balloon, hospitals are insanely busy at the moment, I desperately need to paint my toenails, I can definitely buy Christmas outfits for the wee bairn now.

Oh my gosh!
If it helps loads of 34/35 week old babies are coming in my January 2024 Facebook group and they all look so healthy and are hardly needing help in NICU. Fingers crossed for you 🤞
