Happy September all! Just dawned on me that I’m having my baby next month 💕 Who’s due this month?!
I’ve got a few more months but being in the Ber months has jolted me into reality now. Baby monitor turned up early this morning, so I’ve been playing with that and it dawned on me that I’m going to be so reliant on it to make sure I don’t kill my kid - much neurotic fun.

Me too now it’s September I can officially say only 3 more months to go😳 we’ve got so much work to do in the house before we can sort the baby’s room I’m stressed 🥲 I know it doesn’t really need to be done completely as they won’t be in it until 6 months but I would rather get it done now than when baby’s here!!

Yikes - you’ve made me realise even though my twins are due early October they could be unpredictable! Cots arrived yesterday and car seats today! people getting real!

I've got three months and 3 days til my due date 😬 we're not bothering sorting baby's room until next year, but we are in a position where if something went wrong and she came early, we'd be prepared. Bit terrifying 🤯

Going to book in for an early scan in a few weeks. I think I'm around 4 weeks today. I can't believe I will see what will be my future child this month!!!

Thank you!! Still don't believe it's real lol. I need a doctor to tell me 😂 So happy I've got my booking in appointment next Fri so don't have to wait too long!!

Anyone on this thread got Coeliac disease and pregnant?

Just found out I'm pregnant with my 3rd, I had q postpartum hemorrhage with my 2nd who is now 5, has anyone had a pph and gone on to have more babies? I'm terrified it will happen again or that I will die giving birth
I'm pregnant again and had a PPH. I'm due next month and have opted for a caesarean this time around for multiple reasons. My consultant has informed me they'll have blood on standby should I need it, I'm also anaemic so if my levels aren't rising within the next couple of weeks I'll probably have to have an iron transfusion. I really recommend something called Birth Reflections (that's what it's called at my local hospital) where they discuss your previous births, what happened, and why, I found out so much stuff that I either wasn't aware of or had just pushed to the back of my head.

I'd love to have one of the reflection things, however I now live 7+ hours away from the hospital I had my daughter at 😔 I had asked for one a few times years ago but they never got back in touch with me. I hope your next birth goes as planned

32 weeks today and I feel like my womb is a washing machine on a spin cycle. No idea what she's getting up to but she's certainly making her movements known today 😳

I'm 30 weeks and feel the same 😭 sometimes it's been super painful as well. I think they are running out of room 😂

My debrief was over the phone, and I think they store records for 20+ years - it couldn't hurt to call up to request one if you'd like it 🙂 you can also request a copy of your labour records if that'd be helpful to see.

Your new hospital should be able to do it based off your notes from your previous birth. The woman who did it with me had absolutely no involvement with my birth but was able to piece together a time line of what happened and when from my notes. I never realised how much detail the midwives go into during note taking, they even specified which side I was laying on during each check 😂 failing that it might be worth enquiring about a telephone appointment with your previous hospital?

I forgot how rough the first trimester is 🤢 my daughter is 5 so it's been a long time since I was last going through it and I had HG with her. I'm only 6+3 but I've been sick and nauseous for a week now, I've spent all day on the sofa or asleep 😭 feel so bad

Can anyone recommend a good fragrance free shower gel for post partum? They all seem so expensive!
Sanex?
i did the opposite and used lots of perfumey stuff, had Molton brown for my hospital bag as a bit of luxury for the post birth shower

We are about the same! We are 6+6 today! Nauseous is real especially when I wake up or think about cooking anything 🤢 but I too feel bad for sleeping all day
