40+1 and my feet are officially swollen 🙃 not sure why I thought I’d be immune from swelling but I Deffo didn’t think I’d still be pregnant by now 😂
---
PGP is getting worse and I’m feeling super heavy in the mornings too. Dreading to think what the next few weeks will hold if I’m struggling now!
Girl please go to physio for your PGP 🙏🏼 fixed me completely when I could genuinely barely walk without crying and crying out in pain and I’m overdue now and it’s still not come back. Not sure how it works in England because I’m in Aus now and it’s just normal to pay for stuff like that here (in England I would of never lol) but honestly really worth the money and made the rest of my pregnancy so much more comfortable. Wish I went sooner

30 weeks here! Feeling awful as have been hit by a nasty cold. Not sorted the nursery yet, or packed hospital bag.. kind of wish I did it before reaching the 3rd trimester as I’ve felt completely wiped out! Hoping I get some energy once this cold has shifted 😩😩😬

It only gets worse when you’re up in the night doing night feeds!! 🙈
I remember doing lots of half asleep ordering with my first baby, it was always exciting when packages were delivered and I couldn’t remember what I’d ordered 😂

Vinted has been great for buying clothing bundles. I don’t really care what this kid wears so it’s good to be able to save some pennies, and then put them back on there once he’s grown out of them. Also, I’ve bought a few maternity clothes and bigger jumpers that I don’t mind ruining this winter 😄

Plus they grow out of things so quickly! I think I spent about £70 the other week and got 60 sleepsuits/vests, 6 pram suits, 7 hats, 5 or 6 cardigans (all next and all in various sizes) and then a few bits for my toddler and some maternity tops. That would get me a max of 4 multipacks full price in next.
(I swear by next baby clothes if anyone needs a recommendation, the quality is amazing, there’s tons of it on Vinted and i find it washes and tumble dries really well. My toddler has always been able to wear next stuff throughout the age range - so 12-18 month top and legging set would fit for 6 months even being washed and tumble dried regularly. It is a bit more spenny than other brands but i found after 3/4 washes the Tesco/primark etc stuff would shrink and wouldn’t fit anymore)

How do you find the bundles? I could end up spending as much on the postage 😩

I LOVE jojo maman bebe clothes but the price tags are just painful lol, vinted is a god send honestly!!

I’m agree about next clothes! Some of them aren’t even that expensive and you do get lots and lots of use out of them.

Primark sizes seem to be on the small side so my one year old has to be in the next size up in there

I spend hours trawling honestly, so I find say a sleepsuit or set of 2/3 I like, and often loads of people will be selling the same ones, then I look at what else they’re selling and I buy from the seller who’s selling other things I want if that makes sense?
for example my first had a pack of blue floral sleepsuits that I absolutely adored, so I searched my criteria: 0-3 month sleepsuits, next, blue, very good condition and found 7/8 sellers selling the set I wanted for a good price, then I looked at what else they were selling and bought off the one who was also selling other things I liked! But if I don’t have a specific item, I just search the age, brand and condition I’m after then if I see something I like I make sure they’re selling other things I want too, so I don’ttend to just buy one thing off one seller. So if one sleepsuit is £1.50 but that’s all they’re selling it’s about £4 with postage etc, so even if another seller has it up for £3, if they’re also selling things I need like vests or cardigans then it’s still cheaper to do that? It does take me ages haha, it’s a hobby at this stage 🤣

I got quite a few bundles from Facebook Marketplace quite cheap. I just sorted through what I wanted/didn't want from each bundle and donated the rest. One bundle I got was 2 bags for life rammed with clothes (easily over £200 worth) and I only paid £30!

Car boot sales have been my best friend for baby clothes! People just want to get rid of them so sell them so cheap 😆

Yes you 100% can refuse! No healthcare professional can force you to do anything you’re not comfortable with!❤

I'm happy to supply pictures of my house to prove it's not a crack den but the thought of some random woman appearing before my baby is even born and then 14 days after just bothers me immensely. I've read it "raises alarm bells" if you refuse? Is this true?

I’m unsure about potential alarm bells tbh but if it’s something you’re really not okay with then I’d probably just explain your reasons and see what they say

I'm tempted to just do the initial check so she can see we're not nutters and then decline in the future. I hate having anyone in my house, let alone a random woman 😆
