Yes I'd pronounce it how you have! I think it's similar in sound but definitely distinct from Emily.

We're stuck on names for boys. I do want my Dad's name as the middle name and he wants his Grandfather's name so think he might end up with two as I can't see a compromise happening 😂
My brother & dad both have two middle names so think it is quite common! you just never hear about it.

I bought a beautiful memory book and box from Mabel & Fox and they arrived today! So happy with them, and got a twinge of reality that he’s coming.
Oh I follow Mabel & Fox on Instagram. Not bought anything yet but do love some of their items having browsed.
samples of wallpaper for our nursery arrived yesterday from Lucie Annabelle Home. Agree, it’s all getting very real.

Thankyou20 will give you 20% off if you do buy anything. I’ve got a few of the sailor theme from Little Dutch, and it’s all lovely to be fair.

All good at the 28 week appointment! I have to have the glucose test despite having no markers for GD other than my mum being diabetic. So that's three hours I'll never get back 🙄 but fundal height is 30 cm from 27 cm so at least she's consistent!

I highly highly recommend the Mabel and fox wedge changing mats (especially if not having a specific changing table)-mine is 2 years and is still like new

This is how I first came across them! I saw the changing mats advertised on insta and that they were really good

Sat here watching my tummy move and just can't believe I've been pregnant for 199 days. So weird to think about!

I've spent this morning bawling at videos of rescue cats. Hormones are brutal haha.

When did everyone start showing? I'm 15+6 and basically still look pretty bloated with a slight swell in my lower belly but no real sign of a bump yet. It is my first pregnancy.
---

Love both names! Emmeline is on our shortlist but I'm convinced it's a boy we're having. Boys names are so much harder I find!
With my first I was showing at about 5 months but only in certain clothes, otherwise I just looked a bit large tbh, and then I proper popped at 6 months I think. With this one, I started showing much earlier and popped properly at 17 weeks or so, which was when the girls at work felt confident enough to ask 🤣 at 34 weeks I’m now the same size as I was at 40 weeks though which is mad

32 weeks now and while I’m 100% ready to not be pregnant anymore I still don’t feel ready to have a baby 🙃
I am so disappointed(??) with my pregnancy experience, I’ve had it much easier than most but I’ve found it so hard!
anyone else struggling through??

My nausea has stopped at 8 weeks. Like I could brush my teeth without any hassles…wish my doctor let me have scans done.

I'm also 32 weeks and I feel the same. Baby's movements are a lot more uncomfortable now even though I do love to feel them. I get so out of breath now and struggling in work as I have an active job. But at the same time I want to stay pregnant for as long as possible because apart from a few ups and downs I've had it pretty easy and I want to keep baby safe in there rather than have to look after them in the outside world 😂 I'm a massive worrier so I keep overthinking everything.

It’s so normal for symptoms to come in waves in early pregnancy. With my third my nausea would come, disappear for a few days and then it would be back. It was so unlike my first two pregnancies that I used to constantly wind myself up thinking something was wrong.

What is ‘normal’ in the first trimester is so broad. You will ask if something is normal and get 8000 different answers. If you’re really worried do they do private scans in Aus? Or do you only get them from a doc referral? X

I have been googling non stop all morning about it, it all comes in mixed opinions... I think i wil just wait out. I am an over thinker and go into over drive which is not healthy. tomorrow i got my acupuncture appointment so hopefuly that helps me ease abit of my anxiety!

Googling definitely won't help as you'll always find bad advice that tells you what you've been dreading, so try not to do that and only read advice from official resources (e.g. NHS or your country's healthcare provider). Symptoms fluctuating isn't any reflection at all on how the pregnancy is going - even if you have some spotting or cramping that can be really normal too, but if you're worried you can contact your GP or maternity services. Could you access any support for your anxiety to help you manage your worries so that you're not struggling constantly with them? The first 12 weeks are definitely the most nerve wracking and stressful but try not to let your thoughts take over ❤

Hard agree - 34 weeks, can’t wait to not be pregnant but also not ready for another baby, trying to soak it up because I’m not doing it again and feel guilty for wishing it away because even though I’m knackered in the grand scheme of things it’s been an easy, uncomplicated pregnancy and I know I’ll regret having complained so much!

PGP is getting worse and I’m feeling super heavy in the mornings too. Dreading to think what the next few weeks will hold if I’m struggling now!

Same. Me and pregnancy don’t get along. This is my second and although I’ve felt better in myself this time it’s been much much harder with a toddler. This baby does not stop from morning to night and I’ve had horrific braxton hicks (been in hospital twice now thinking I’m in labour), didn’t have them first time round at all! Always thought I would have 4 but we’ve decided this will be our last, it’s too much of a mental strain for me
