I don't think it's so much it being your second pregnancy but more the fact that every single pregnancy is different. I had the opposite and had less cramping with my second and 3rd but my 4th was way worse 😊
Ahh okay, that's good to know. I've had two losses as well, so I'm just an anxious little ball at the moment 😣 I found out suuuper early so this past two and a half weeks has already felt like an age

Hi 6 week friend 👋🏼 my first baby but I have a fair amount of cramps and back ache. Agreed that it feels like time moves sooo slowly. Doesn’t help that I’m still waiting to hear back from the midwife service to get everything booked in.

Always wonder which thread I’ll give birth in. Almost certain it’s going to be the next one😁🤞🏼
I was hoping I would go in this one but no sign of little miss popping out just yet so will be the next one 😂

I am so ready for her to arrive now I just want my body back to myself and to snuggle my little girl!! 🥰

Anybody else due anytime now?

It’s my second and I’m absolutely floored with exhaustion. My little one has finished nursery for summer so home all the time.Hubby is working from home but tbh more of a hindrance than a help as he’s so busy working before he leaves for paternity. I feel like such a tit mum, YouTube is my childcare this morning 🙈 and I just sat and sobbed. I feel pathetic! Is this normal?! I have my sweep on Friday and I want to go for a long walk To get things moving but feel so tired. Sorry for the rant but feeling sorry for myself 🙃

The health visitor sorted moving me over to the new health visitor team so I didn’t have to do anything with that. Then I just registered baby and me at my new doctors.

I was lucky we were moving close to my in-laws so they helped my DH get everything ready. House was spotless as DH is army so we were moving into army accommodation and leaving the house very very clean is part of the moving process. Could you maybe arrange a cleaner to go give it a good once over before you get there? Send DH up just before you?
Awh I see.. himself will be living there already but I’m thinking getting a cleaner is the best option, I’m too ocd as is 🙈 I’ll have annual leave before mat leave so will get a few bits done myself hopefully.. thank you 😊

So so normal. You just don’t get the downtime you need when you’re pregnant with your subsequent children. Pregnancy is a hard slog! You’re totally allowed to feel a bit sorry for yourself. Can your husband take your big baby for an hour sometime so you can have a nap or a little sleep in?

I'm struggling and this is my first pregnancy! Honestly just do what you have to, your little one won't even register it and is probably loving the youtube! The exhaustion is so debilitating sometimes I genuinely can't imagine having to try and look after another kid at the same time! Fingers crossed your sweep and walk kick start things ☺ x

16w midwife appt tomorrow (I'm actually going to be 17+3) and so nervous about the doppler not picking up a heartbeat 🥲 I've felt flutters but my brain won't let me believe its the baby in case something is wrong! I wonder if I'll ever not be anxious during pregnancy 😅

Another midwife appointment ticked off today, only another possibly 2 more to go! I’ve seen a different midwife almost every appointment so far and they all have their own ways of doing things I wish it was more consistent. This one scratched me down the arm with the needle taking blood today 😭 I was sat there feeling sorry for myself after 😂 I know worse is to come but I hate needles

Easier said than done, but don't panic if it doesn't. A lot of midwives/trusts wont do it at 16 weeks for that reason.
Mine don't do it until 24 weeks and some dont do it at all

I’m the same I have my appointment tomorrow and I’m actually 17 weeks, I think I’ve felt flutters but not sure if it’s just in my mind!

Does anyone have any proper advice about having a brow tint? I’ve googled and it’s all contradictory.
Definitely get a patch test! I regularly got my eyebrows and eyelashes tinted pre pregnancy. My salon insisted on a patch test (it was after a period of covid closure). I had the most horrendous reaction to the point where a gp thought it was shingles (it wasn’t, it was a reaction to the dye).

Why wasn’t it allowed?😮I get a monthly massage because my back gets bad from work and my massage lady has carried on as normal she said I can have them all the way just have to lie in different positions!

So I was told by the spa that they don’t do it in the first 12 weeks as it can be risky, to do with blood flow and pressure points. But who knows 🤷🏻‍♀️. I just never even considered how it could be a bad thing? I got them all the time too, before!
