Been losing my mucous plug for about 5 days and today it’s bloody. Got some period pains too. Waiting game now!!

@kayefeluu20 how did your appointment go? Mine was good I had the whooping cough vaccination and they told me the results from the bloods they took last time! thought I might get to hear the heartbeat as some people said they did at their 16 week app

Good news about your bloods! Thanks for thinking of me 🩷 It went great. Iron levels good, bloods all good, blood pressure down. Didn't have whooping vaccination, my trust does it after 20 weeks for some reason? So interesting learning how every trust does it differently.

Was really nervous about the doppler but midwife found the little beans heartbeat in about 2 minutes and let me listen for ages feel so bonded now, nearly cried. Just so much relief haha! Not long til our 20 week scans now!

Hopefully at your next midwife appt they do it, although some people on the thread have mentioned their trust doesn't even do it at all. I think its pot luck!

Oh good I’m glad it went well! We did hear the heartbeat a bit at the 12 week scan so that was okay I didn’t mind missing out today! Looking forward to the next scan now can’t believe we get a scan at 20 weeks and then that’s the last! I’m not paying for another private one

Joining here for now I got a positive test yesterday at 8dpo. This will be my third pregnancy but second baby. Not gonna lie these next few months until my first scan will be a very nervous time for me, I might see if I can book in for an early scan at 7 weeks but they’re all so expensive near me!

Hope it all went well for you! Mine is in 2 weeks when I’ll be 13 weeks! Had a scan at almost 9 weeks and all was fine but it’s nerve wracking waiting for the next

It was all good thank you! baby was very wriggly, and I took the full bladder a bit too literally she made me go for a pee 3 times to try and empty my bladder a bit! But so relieved that all is going well!

It was all good thank you! baby was very wriggly, and I took the full bladder a bit too literally she made me go for a pee 3 times to try and empty my bladder a bit! But so relieved that all is going well!

You do, but it doesnt need to be overly full. I think usually they say to drink a pint (might be 2) half an hour before your scan

It’s horrid !! I’m 11 weeks and it’s only just wearing off now. Naps During the day are essential

same same, I'm 14 on Monday and I’m absolutely trashed. Baby is growing at a mega pace though, so I’m also not surprised.

I felt baby kicking for the first time tonight!! been feeling flutters but tonight was definitely more of a kick - must’ve been trying to get comfy I’m 20 weeks on Monday, was starting to stress about my scan so it’s been nice to have a little bit of reassurance
