I had an anterior placenta with my first & twin 2.
Had 4D scan for both and they were clear just took a bit of skill from the sonographer😊
Ah this is really good to know! Thanks 🥰🥰
3rd baby but first anterior placenta and my other 2 have loved the private scans we’ve took them to and so was wanting to get one last one in.
Also will be last ever scan 🥺😬

Had a scan today after spotting yesterday - had a total meltdown beforehand and walked into the hospital sobbing after being surrounded by pregnant women smoking outside the hospital. I know it doesn’t work like that, but I was so mad that I didn’t know if everything was okay with my (desperately wanted after years of TTC) baby, and these idiots didn’t even have the decency to try and stop smoking.

luckily, everything is fine. Baby has changed lots since our private scan at 6 weeks, and it was amazing to see the heart beating again.
Oh I feel you with this!! I couldn’t go stand outside for some fresh air when I was in cos everyone was stood smoking like it was a shelter and not the bloody entrance to maternity triage. I don’t understand it at all 🤦🏼‍♀️ So glad baby is okay, hope you feel better after the scan ❤ xx

Been for a growth scan and consultant appt today due to the GD and he's measuring at 7lb 7oz at 35+6. So they'd like to induce me in 2 weeks! I feel suddenly underprepared! Tomorrow is my last day at work so hopefully I can mentally get ready after that. Can't believe he'll be here so soon.

💯!!!! I’m having pate on toast for breakfast with a strong coffee, sushi for lunch and steak for dinner 😂 and loadsa wine 🤣🤣 followed by unpasteurised cheese of all types 🤤
All this chat of smoked salmon and I’m here crying that I can’t eat pate at Christmas 😢
I’m so sorry I mentioned smoked salmon 😭😭😭 I’ve spent the day being very upset about the different advice so might just cook some smoked salmon and hope it tastes like the raw good stuff 😭

also upset about the lack of salmon at Christmas but excited for the cooked Camembert with garlic in 🥖 🫕

Omg I never even thought about no paté at Christmastime... Crying rn.

Whoever said the fatigue goes in the second trimester is a liar 😭. I have Ehlers danlos so not sure if that's a factor but the last two days have been work, struggle up the road home, falling asleep on bus. Home, dinner and bed. I fell asleep at like 7pm and just woke up 😭.

I have been regularly taking an afternoon nap daily at 2pm since falling pregnant. I haven’t had a nap this week and I’m now in week 22 so yeah I think maybe it takes a while to shake off but EDS surely adds another factor to it? Take it easy on yourself

It’s all lies 😭 mine marginally improved but by 2/3pm I’m dead, if I don’t have a nap I’m pretty cranky. Not sure if it’ll ever go, I’m 18 weeks now and still waiting for the sudden burst of energy I was promised :(

Has anyone had an anterior placenta and gone for a 4D scan? My normal scans have been crap sooo bloody blurry so was just wondering if 4D would be different?
I had one just before I was 30wks and she wasn’t playing ball so they told us to come back in which we did a few days later and it was amazing to see her much more baby like!! Defs go for it.

The tiredness has never left me!! Now I’m 39wks, I can sleep til lunchtime and have numerous naps after that and still feel tired at night. It’s a joke😂

Mine were broken and I swear it was like a river!

Baby Hun arrived yesterday! I can’t deal with how much I love her already. She’s just perfect! Panicking with the breastfeeding but hopefully I’ll chill out a little and give us both a chance to learn how to do it together.
Aww congratulations🥰 take it as it comes and give yourself a break, you will both get there☺ Hope you and baby girl are fine. Can’t wait for this feeling!! X

Hey everyone! Sorry to jump in and not read others stories but I was wondering if anyone had an experience similar to mine. I've just done a pregnancy test at night and the test took ages to change colour on the window and when it finally did it looked like this. Took 2 more and an early pregnancy one after a late night Asda visit and negative... it is midnight I know and am gonna test in the morning ...

The pic was hard to take and it was a bit darker and clearer irl...

test again in the morning, it looks like the dye has run on that test so would be inaccurate. Good luck!

Try a digital one as well as I think the dye ones can be inaccurate and are void if it’s after the time it says it should take to come up with a result. Good luck!

Just want to say I'm very thankful for these threads on here.
I went to the toilet last night and 2 times the paper was light pinkish.
I'm 8w3d & if I hadn't read religiously since I found out, I'd have massively panicked.
It's only happened twice & I've been completely fine since, so just want to say thank you ladies 💛

I brought some cooked salmon and made salmon cream cheese and gherkin( yummm) bagels and it sorted my craving out!! Thought It would even be nice with some scrambled egg on toast!!

I was all worried as I couldn’t quite work out if tinned anchovies were ok to eat. Ended up having some and have regretted it since as Iv had a bad tummy- think they were just way to rich for my slightly sensitive tummy atm! Plus I may have realised yesterday Stilton was ok to eat so ate that too!! All the rich food in one day 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️

How many dpo are you? If it’s early/before your missed period it needs to be first morning urine or if you’ve held it for four hours or more so the hormone is concentrated and can be picked up by the test

Currently debating if it's a really dumb idea to buy Paramore tickets for a 23rd April gig... almost exactly one month after my due date... in a city 100 miles away...

In the nicest possible way - really dumb 😂 I am due this weekend and I don’t know who’s feeding me for Christmas yet 😂

I wouldn’t, if you go overdue that’ll only be two weeks after. I definitely couldn’t have managed a gig 4 weeks postnatal, you don’t know what type of birth you’ll have etc so don’t risk wasting the money x

Thanks, quite right. I need someone to remind me often that some ideas I have are just plain stupid!
