You have completely turned my life around. I think it’s the hormones but I might actually cry at this news 😭😭😭 the nearest sainsburys is like 15 mins away but I’m considering going right now lmao
I didn’t know this either! Game changer I’ve been moaning to my hubby constantly about smoked salmon so he will be relieved to know 🤣

I’ve had a migraine for the past two days and before that it was mild headaches. Should I be worried 😣? I really want to call in sick but I’ve used so much sickness already
Headaches/migraines are completely normal (unfortunately) it can be down to increased blood flow, hormonal fluctuations, dehydration/lack of food if you’re a bit off it with sickness or even the lack of caffeine if you normally have more than you are doing. I personally found my headaches started to subside along with other symptoms at about 12 weeks, in the meantime, have paracetamol if you need it and take time off if you need it too!

I really fancied smoked salmon the other day…. And checked on nhs site but saw this..

Due to a listeria outbreak linked to smoked fish, people at higher risk of serious infection (including people who are pregnant) should only eat smoked fish products that have been thoroughly cooked.

It’s all very conflicting- I found this here that said with sushi as long as the raw fish has been frozen it’s ok: https://111.wales.nhs.uk/LiveWell/Pregnancy/FoodsToAvoid/

Sorry for any confusion about the salmon, sounds like there was an outbreak of listeria back in January so they made the advice stricter 🤷🏻‍♀️ I’ve definitely read previously that if it had been frozen before it was fine.

Mine were broken and I swear it was like a river!

Baby Hun arrived yesterday! I can’t deal with how much I love her already. She’s just perfect! Panicking with the breastfeeding but hopefully I’ll chill out a little and give us both a chance to learn how to do it together.
Congratulations 💕💕💕 enjoy every second xxx

This is what my sister (who's just had a baby) said. I'm avoiding it personally but it's so hard!

I feel a bit funny today… I feel on the blink of tears, my tummy feels sicky like the anxious sick feeling, I can’t work out why! I think I may be over tired but you know them days you just don’t feel right ☹

Had my 36 week midwife appointment today, and I've got sugar in my pee again 🙄🙄

As it's the second time she's got to ask the diabetic midwives if they want to do a repeat glucose test. If it's positive it may explain the erratic growth I've been having, but it would also mean they'd probably want to get her out even sooner.

I know everyone says girls are harder work than boys, but I was not expecting this much trouble before she'd even left the womb 😂😂

Just grabbed this from the NHS website - looks like it’s a specific issue with smoked fish including salmon. I think, as ever you have to make your own assessment of the risk…. I’m just adding it to my already long list of demands once baby is out 😂
I can't wait for a juicy, rare steak 🤣

Had a scan today after spotting yesterday - had a total meltdown beforehand and walked into the hospital sobbing after being surrounded by pregnant women smoking outside the hospital. I know it doesn’t work like that, but I was so mad that I didn’t know if everything was okay with my (desperately wanted after years of TTC) baby, and these idiots didn’t even have the decency to try and stop smoking.

luckily, everything is fine. Baby has changed lots since our private scan at 6 weeks, and it was amazing to see the heart beating again.

Feeling exactly the same today! Didn’t sleep well last night and paying for it today, feel a bit nauseous and just not myself. Hope you have a better day tomorrow 😊

Has anyone had an anterior placenta and gone for a 4D scan? My normal scans have been crap sooo bloody blurry so was just wondering if 4D would be different?

I had an anterior placenta with my first & twin 2.
Had 4D scan for both and they were clear just took a bit of skill from the sonographer😊
