Ladies, where is the best place to get cellular blankets? I don’t mind size/colour but don’t want to order some if they are scratchy or horrible! Any recommendations would be helpful! X

I got some Clare De Lune from Amazon & some from Tesco, Tescos are far softer than the ones I got from Amazon

White company’s are lovely and so so soft x
I second this! I was given a couple as a baby shower gift and they’re lovely.
Also if you have a TK max near you I got some in there! Not sure what the brand is but they were very soft

Hello 👋🏻 I just wondered if I could hop on for a bit of reassurance! I found out I was pregnant last week and it’s still very early days. I think I might be 5 weeks on Saturday. But basically I’ve got quite regular cramps just like my period is about to start but it doesn’t. I’ve had no bleeding and my tests are all still super dark but it’s making me worry. Just wanted to know if anyone else has this? I keep checking the tissue when I’m wipe as it’s just like period pains! X
Congratulations! I also had quite a lot of cramp at about 6 weeks and remember thinking I don’t think I can do the whole pregnancy thing if it’s going to be like this the whole way through 🤣 it can be such a worrying time but hopefully it’s reassured you a bit to know that it seems to be fairly common.

Puffy face!!!! Please does anyone have any cures for the delightful puffy face I have woken up with this morning! I feel like a marshmallow! 36 weeks and not loving life today!

I have a "problem that's not really a problem" that's stressing me out. Was hoping I could pick your brains for your experiences!

My job is quite specialised and it typically takes new team members 3-6 months to learn how we do things. We get a healthy supply of graduate hires who spend 6-18 months with us as junior team members, before moving on to other teams.

Several of these people have risen up the ranks of the company and are now at a similar level of seniority to me, and I'd assumed one of them would be brought back in to cover my maternity leave. This would have been super easy for me, as they would have needed minimal training.

Unfortunately, I've just learned that because of some complicated P&L/accounting reasons, this is not what is going to happen.

Instead, we will be hiring someone senior specifically to cover my role, who we will then need to train up.

I start mat leave in 4 months but I'm worrying that the handover training is going to add even more to my plate. My husband says it shouldn't be an issue, because the person is being brought on specifically to do my job, so there will be 2 of us handling my workload, which will make life easier. I want to believe him!

I know this is just standard stuff, that everyone doing mat leave has to go through. Can anyone reassure me, or am I right to expect training my mat cover to be stressful?

Can anyone recommend any decent maternity faux leather leggings? I have the regular Spanx ones and was looking at the Maternity version but they’re pretty expensive and I’ve got 4 weeks to go so not sure if they’ll be worth it? I know I won’t go back in to normal clothes right away so I don’t mind if they’ll also see me through christmas with a squishy tummy but some maternity stuff seems like it’ll transition better to postpartum than others. I’ve attempted going up a size or three in my regular Zara numbers (way to make yourself cry in a changing room!) and everything else online I can’t figure out if they’ll look cheap and nasty or not. Ive managed without much maternity stuff until now but I’ve got a few social things in our last few baby free weeks and I am just not squeezing in to anything anymore so need to invest in a couple of staples! Any tried and trusted options from you gorgeous lot?

I actually got a really decent pair from primark of all places from their “parenthood” (should be called maternity) range! They’re more of a matte faux leather rather than the shiny kind if that makes sense? They’re actually the only over the bump leggings that fit me now as the bump band is nice and stretchy. All my other maternity leggings I have to roll Under the bump now.

will the people who are in the similar role not be able to help fill any gaps you never got time to cover or things they weren't 100% sure of? I am going to be training but know I am going to be leaving them with my boss for support and I definitely won't be logging on to help!

Millie Mackintosh posted some yesterday but I can’t for the life of me remember where she tagged so I’m useless! Hopefully someone will have seen the story yesterday and remember!

Another good point - yes, my boss will be able to fill them in. Not ideal obviously but also it's not my problem!

Thank you, I know this is such a basic, obvious thing but I was really stressing out about it today. Probably just a bad day / in need of a weekend...

Oh my god, I walk around primark grumbling to myself ‘why is it not maternity? Men don’t need this’ and I thought it was just me! Why is it parenthood? I just don’t understand. Are they trying to be inclusive? Weird

I’ve bought and washed everything but haven’t ironed and packed.
I’ve got a feeling this will be the first and last time I iron anything for a very long time!
To go into labour without my bag packed would be a nightmare for me, my partner wouldn’t have a clue where anything is. I can’t imagine what he’d rock up at the hospital with for me and the baby to wear 😆

Don’t get me started on it, the advert mentions “pregnant people”. I don’t get why women have to be erased that’s not inclusivity to me 🤷‍♀️
