Disgusting bitch. I really think I’m going to start replying ‘worry about your own belly’ to the people who mention my bump in a negative way
I was actually shocked, she’s a mum of 2 and someone I would have classed as being friendly with. I think it was the day of people being knobs. My step dad who is over weight asked did I want to start borrowing his T-shirt’s. I snapped and said last time I checked I’m still in my normal clothes & I’m 6 months pregnant what’s your excuse??

Pretty sure I felt something last night but I’m doubting myself. It was like light bubbles popping in my lower left side. I’m 17 weeks today so probably still a bit early to be babies movements?
Definitely not too early and there’s 2 in there wriggling away so more than likely it was movements 😍 so lovely. I felt my first movements at around 16/17 weeks both pregnancies and it was like bubbles popping xx

I’m the poster who had friends, family and strangers revel in telling how I am, my midwife got me a scan to see how big she is actually measuring as she agreed my bump is large. Has anyone been told their baby has a big head or had a first baby with a big head? I’m worried about the delivery, like getting stuck, forceps & shoulder dysplasia.
I can only find birth stories online with women who have had large babies as their second.
My baby is on track to be 9-10lb and her head measurement was off the scale thingy.
I’ve felt miserable since finding this out this morning. I’m 29+3 I think, I’m too miserable to even double check on the app x
My first was 9lb on the button, forcep delivery and back to back.......we're both fine and I went on to have another 21 months later, and I'm going again now........if baby is big it's best they know before hand to prepare but you've got this!

Hello lovely people, I feel very big. I’m just over 10 weeks and have a full on hard bump that I cannot breathe in no matter how hard I try. I’m a big person anyway but it’s definitely not just belly chub and I’m carrying it mostly in the top of my stomach but hard in the bottom half too (lol roll life x) anyway; anyone having 2nd/3rd child and feel too big for how far along they are also? Like early stages? Or people having twins do you/did you feel huge in the early stages? I’m fully on the edge as we asked my 3yo what he’d like the baby to be and he said “a sister........2 sisters” so I bloody hope he’s not some kind of psychic because 4 under 3.5 is just a tad more than I can handle in this life 🙃😂
I’m enormous second time round. First time round I went into maternity jeans about 10/11 weeks but could still hide it with a floaty top. I’m ten weeks now and let me attach a pic of how I look right now 😂 I’ve had an early scan and there’s def only one!

Is it normal to be completely mental at 5w 5d and think things have gone wrong? I got sickness last week and nothing this week so my brain is overdrive. My scan isn’t til 4th July
Still completely mental at 25+5 so I’ll say yes 😂 seriously though, the early days are so tough when you have no idea what’s going on in there. Keep busy if you can and remember the scan is soon!

Hope everyone is doing ok. I’ve been so quiet as I am having such a bad few days mental health wise 😣 haven’t felt like this since the start of pregnancy and don’t know who to talk to.

Seen my MIL at the weekend, first time in ages, (I’m always really friendly and nice btw) But she is such a genuine nasty person, I’ve never met anyone like her. She kept pulling a stupid concerned face when I was using a nasal spray (that says suitable for pregnancy) on the bottle, as if it was damaging, and then telling me off for CROSSING MY LEGS. Oh she also said I used to have a puffy face but it’s gone now and that I’m arrogant (because I thanked someone for saying I was looking well) I don’t really give a shit about this stuff but it’s making me so worried about what’s to come

I know through a family friend that when she was younger she smashed a girls face off a curb, unprovoked, she is a complete nutter so I’m trying to stay friendly but I am just dreading her meeting the baby, and making comments. She’s so vile. I don’t know what to do.

I know it sounds strange but she creeps me out, I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving a 15 year old with her never mind a baby.

Btw my partner doesn’t have a good relationship with her, he sits there in silence most of the time. He never talks about what it was like growing up but judging by their filthy home I can only imagine. It made me cry when he said he made his own dinner from the age of 12 😭 (she doesn’t work)
They only contact him to ask for money which makes me so sad for him!
Oh my god!
she sounds like a toxic bitch! Do yourself a favour and make up an excuse the next time you have to be around her… no one needs that negativity especially during a time like this🥴

Hi lovely, I have 2 big headed babies here, off the chart on scans, off the chart at birth and definitely off the chart now they are 3 and 1. Please DO NOT WORRY. I cannot stress this enough. They LOVE worrying pregnant women about things like head sizes. We even got absolutely terrified into ours having something called ventriculomegaly (enlarged brain ventricles), had to have SO many extra scans including ones at a specialist foetal medicine but their actual diagnosis was that they just had big heads in the end which meant big brains 🙃 My mum was told we had giant heads too (I really do have a big head to this day 🤣) and delivered us safely and absolutely fine naturally, I only had a c section because my eldest got stuck in my pelvis but not due to his head size at all or shoulder dystocia at all. You get the impression that they’ll come out with heads double the size of their bodies but I promise you with my whole heart that they won’t, you won’t even think they’ve got a big head because it’ll be in proportion. If you feel more comfortable having an elective then push for one, but your baby will not be bigger than your body can handle I can promise you that. Shoulder dystocia isn’t usually to do with large heads and 9/10lbs is a really good projecting weight but these things are never the full picture and quite often are innacurate. Sorry for the waffle but I really hope you’re okay, try and keep your chin up ❤ Xxx

I am having a full on breakdown about how I’m going to cope with 3 under 4. My littles have been so so unwell this weekend and even being with my mum/family being around (we’ve been at my nans all weekend) it has been actually a bit much 😭 I just don’t know how the logistics of it all are going to work. My heart is having horrible pangs about it all. It’s such a much wanted baby and I absolutely adore the age gap between my boys and want the same with this baby but my god 😭 talked myself into a right state. Doesn’t help my partner has been at work pretty much 14 hours a day for the past 6 days and won’t be off until Thursday (aware I am in a much better position than some!) Please someone tell me it’ll be okay 😫

Our gender scan on Friday she said "looks like a little girl". Me being the biggest overthinker ever, about an hour after the appt I said to my husband "do you think she was sure?" He's been laughing at me since. He said she wouldn't have bothered saying the gender if she couldn't see it.
Welcome to my brain 😂😂😂
Was that a private one or NHS?

At our 20 week scan when I asked for the gender, she said “I’m going to go with… girl” but she was a bit non-committal 😂 so then as much as we’re preparing for a girl I’ve also got it in the back of my mind that she could be wrong! But I also read online that the NHS ones they prefer not to fully commit in case they’re wrong haha.

We’re having another private one in July to make sure 😂

Has anyone experienced negative/disappointing reaction when you tell people that you’re having a girl(s) or another girl etc? We’re not going out of our way to tell people but if someone asks about gender I’ve told them. However I keep getting “condolences to your husband” “he’s outnumbered” “think you’ll try for a boy next”. I’m trying not to let it affect me as we’re both thrilled to be having girls but I just feel a bit sad it’s not the same reaction it would be if we announced it was 2 boys or 1 of each ….

I would personally wait re pumps and it’s a mine field even when you know if you’re going to be bf. I actually got on ok with the Tommee Tippee manual one. An Amazon bargain double (Bella baby) was quite good but definitely need a pump bra as it’s hard to sit there holding them on. The Medela hospital one was easy to use. The best was a single wireless one I just got from Amazon for something crazy like £11. The thing is different nipple sizes need different flange sizes etc
The Hakka is no good to me, I never get anything from the other boob while feeding/pumping from one but it’s absolutely sworn by by many mums. Same way I have loads of breast pads now because I never leak personally while others can leak ozs. Wait and see what your flow is like and Amazon has you covered with next day delivery. It’s definitely not something you need from day 1 and you actually don’t want to mess about with your supply in the first few weeks

What a rude person how disgusting someone barged into me in Tesco the other day and an old couple shut the door on me at the hospital 🤨 this is probably tmi but I have this crusty yellow on my one nipple is that the start of collostrum x
Yeah that's the colostrum, I've had it since about 19 weeks. Also I had some blood in mine and apparently its an actual thing called "rusty pipe syndrome" 🤣🤣

I am so worried about not having my fiancé with me & another lockdown it is really setting my anxious side off again. My partner is like a bull in a China shop and he will have to be physically be removed from me or he will climb a drain pipe and talk to me through the window 😆 x
