Surely this makes PS's position as a TV presenter totally untenable, if I am understanding his statement below, he knew what his brother was doing last September, 3 months before the brother was arrested, and he did nothing about it bar telling his brother not to do it again, for fuck sakes, sounds like even the brother was looking for help and PS did nothing which allowed the abuse to continue. He probably bloody got off on it himself, absolute sicko, the pair of them. Is it not criminal to not report such a crime once you know?

In a statement read during trial, the This Morning presenter said he had invited his brother to visit him in London after receiving a call from him in an "agitated and upset state".

"I said, 'F***, stop'. I shouted at Tim that he had to stop. I didn't want to know any of the details but he made it sound like a one-off," Mr Schofield said.
"I said, 'I don't want you to tell me any more'. I said, 'You've got to stop, just never do it again. Regardless how that happened it must never happen again'."
