Make do & brush it off , mostly, I should think. Plus, now they are in the older age group, most are very settled in their ways
" awwwww he's lovely " , etc
Well I'm pushing 59, and I can assure you that I don't think he is lovely, quite the oppisite in fact.

Why don't you all just save yourselves some time and make a general castration thread about any man in the public eye you think is gay and who has ever interacted with children in any setting? For all the posters relishing mentioning Andi Peters, Paul O'Grady, etc, under the pretence of 'protecting the kids'. You're not subtle about it.
Are you part of the public relations team, who are saturating the media with biased articles about Schofield?

Tell me you’re a homophobe who’s never seen a drag queen reading to children without telling me you’re a homophobe 🙄

Children love brightly coloured funny characters, like the ones that have been in Christmas Pantos for generations. It’s not that deep. There’s no secret Illuminate backround where they’re snatching up children.
Yep, name calling is part of the normalisation of it. To stop the discussion.

Panto is completely different. Bottom line is it adult entertainment and its weird that it has become a thing for kids storytelling sessions.

Modern drag can be so misogynistic to women ie fishy etc...... and don't get me started on the names of them ie Anna Bortion, Annie Rexic, Ginger Minge etc. That is not and never should be entertainment for children. If my child's school brought this is she would be removed sharpish.

It really is. Some of the outfits too.... Why are the outfits always sexy - huge heels and the biggest pair of fake tits they can find? The constant portrayal of women as sexy bitch porn sluts. No respect for women at all.

Someone upthread said Holly’s illness was a way of delaying returning to see the public mood. I agree.

All the people complicit in keeping this type of story compressed should be ashamed of themselves. That legal company on a retainer to pay off MM and bat away away any bad talk about their client (epic fail there) - on what basis are they earning their corn? Do they think they are defending the reputation of an older gay man with a much younger partner, or are they deflecting away from the criminal act of having a relationship with a minor? They will know the age of MM from whatever he was prepared to spill, so who are these people who are complicit in this moral and criminal activity? Do they not have kids, morals etc
I'm just shocked and disgusted that anyone with money can silence something as serious as child abuse. Things like this should not be allowed to be covered up 😡😡😡

Jim Davidson on GB News for Dan’s show talking about amongst other things Philth Schofield! Not sure what time but at some point between now and 11pm.
Can’t stand the skid mark that is Jim Davison. He can fuck right off even if he comes out with golden nuggets of anti Phil stories. He is racist and homophobic.

It was obvious from the way it was reported that the victim is someone known to Tim. I assumed family friend or another relatives child but I suppose it could be his own son. The whole family sounds completely and utterly fucked up. For that kind of penchant for young boys/men to run to be a part of both brothers personality traits then something must have gone wrong in their own childhoods. The Schofield family has always struck me as being a bit odd even before any of this happened. The way Phil clings to his adult daughters like they are still children is extremely weird as well, they still holiday together as a family unit without the girls partners. It’s so fucking strange. If anyone knows anything about psychology I’d love to hear their take on it all.
I'm a psychology student in my final year at university but have worked in child safeguarding and victim support also. What I see in Philip Schofield is textbook narcissistic behaviour, I'd even say a little bit sociopathic. He thinks he's some god like figure and totally untouchable, most P***s do tbf. They have no concept of empathy which is why he probably didn't report what happened when his brother disclosed it. He would have been more concerned with how it would affect him and not all too bothered with the wellbeing of the actual victim... the fact they're a vulnerable child wouldn't enter a narcs train of thought. He's clearly thinking this'll all blow over. His messed up entitled opinion of himself, and what is right and wrong, is also being enabled by his employers therefore giving him reinforcement to carry on thinking he's untouchable. The whole thing is absolutely baffling and disgusting.

ETA: The clinging onto his daughters even though they are now grown is also a telltale sign of narcissistic personality disorder. Narcs consider their children to be an extension of themselves and therefore enmesh themselves in their lives/have very few or no boundaries. It doesn't matter how old they are, he'll always be right up in their lives/business unless they put strong boundaries in place.

Thought this thread a good place for my first post as the first time I heard of Tattle was via Digital Spy, when people were being disallowed to talk about anything potentially unsavory to do with Pip after his big "coming out" moment a few years ago. I remember DS deleting posts and threads left and right and people started to name-drop Tattle as an alternative platform where people are actually allowed to express an opinion.

So I've done a bit of backreading and it's a relief to know so many beside myself cannot stand him and think he is a slimy creep who is hiding a lot.

It really baffles me that ITV continue to employ and protect him. They must know that his reputation is trash now but they insist on having him still be the face of their channel! Why!!!

Where’s the photo and can we see it??
Does anyone know what Alison was being blackmailed about? That’s suddenly gone quiet hasn’t it. Der not and Alison both apologized via Social Media about the singing during musicals faux pas.
Gino getting caught with drugs at the airport is quiet too.

Probably best to scrap This Morning altogether and get something worthwhile on telly instead.

They were quick to get John Leslie off daytime TV back in the old days for his sex video and rape suggestion (by Ulrika Johnson) let’s get the other misvreants off our screens.
Apologies in advance

Seems like itv are having a fair few problems with their staff. Alison, first with the blackmail thing, which has gone quiet and last weeks incident on TM and also Gino with his drugs at airport. I don't think these are diversion tactics. TM is coming apart at the seams.
What did Alison do last week?

the poster defending the indefensible on here (who tried to hide their own concerning mentality behind a wild generalisation about all gay men) reminded me of this article that was rushed out to defend PS when he 'came out'.. no doubt his crisis agency were behind this in some way too.

It didn't seem to attract much attention though..

Some older gay men date younger partners – but the reasons are more complex than you think | The Independent | The Independent
I agree with a lot of the article, in that age gaps between gay guys aren't particularly problematic. It's not the same as some leery, straight 50 year old salivating over an 18 year old girl in a high school uniform.

The problem with Philth is that he was in a professional, powerful position which he exploited to start an inappropriate relationship with a much younger member of his staff.

It becomes reprehensible when you consider he has known MM since he was very, very young.

The other huge problem is the hushing up of it all, the cover ups and the seediness of his coming out.

And then when you factor in the early hours Snapchats to various young lads, it becomes incredibly grubby.

I have always found Schofield to be smug and unlikeable, but I wouldn't have a problem with his personal life if he were dating a regular 21 year old he met in a bar. It's the exploitation that's the problem - not the age gap itself.

ITV is a bad place to be, where all the deviants are allowed to run free!

I remember reading at the time that she was well aware that he was gay when they married. But obviously I have no idea whether or not that is true.

I think the way that he was allowed to take over programme(s) in order to weep and wail and get all the praise about how brave he is, shows how corrupt the whole set up is at ITV.
You only have to look at the difference in how they treated Caroline Flack and Ant McPartlin. She was discarded whilst he, a selfish drink driver was mollycoddled.
