I had never heard the poo-in-the-bag story either, so spent last week's podcast internally screaming "But WHAT IS the story?!!"

Okay, so I know this is going to sound stupid, and I totally can't ask this on the FB PCD group (!), but..... WHAT the heck is a retro-oner???????????????

I feel I must have missed out on the day at school where they taught us all the stuff that apparently everyone else knows

no worries you're amongst friends here!

So, a one-er is someone who has listened to every show from the start (i.e. started listening from the XFM show in 2014) and then a retro oner is someone who has gone back and listened to the entire back catalogue from that first show until present.

I gained retro oner status around April 2020. It probably took about 9ish months

Made Up Games is supposed to be one of their key features, with them trying to get it on tv etc. so I don’t understand why they didn’t get the boys involved and make a decent jingle? The previous ones have been soo good and this one is pretty shit. Sorry Dave, I love your other ones but I just don’t get this one.

I do like their podcasts (was especially sad when the isolation tapes ended). Brodcasting live definitely has a different vibe.

I'm glad they'll still be around to listen to, but yeah.

I've seen John live before and he was great. I'll be seeing him in October when he does his tour.

But yeah the Lou thing, he does seem to be hanging out with her a lot more. Like the dodgeball thing? I can't imagine he'd have done that ordinarily.

Old Johnny JR seems to be in a bit of hot water over his supportive tweet(s)... being accused of standing by a friend who was behaving in a similar way to RB... it's very interesting to see all this coming out.

I'm a few weeks behind on the show. I think it has lost its momentum with a different guest host every week... I'll still catch up eventually but it's just not the same or even close.

That's a huge amount of alcohol to be drinking on a regular basis. Good for him for sorting it out. I can't wait to see his show in October!

I'm slightly worried about listening to the Shame Wells as I usually listen to podcasts on my commute and I don't want to look like an idiot laughing to myself

I think BBC Sounds has restarted the trailers to that Kerry Katona podcast. God love her and all that but if I hear "Kerry Shame Katona' one more time I think I'm going to scream.

Hello hammer legends... anyone else feeling a bit deflated that yet again the special guests for the live pod show st the weekend are Lou and Ivo, and Vin randomly.

I was waiting to see who the guests were before I got my tickets and now don't think I'll bother sadly.

I do hope this changes with the new format next year. Loved it when Ania was (albeit briefly) the guest host, and having the same two feels a little 'done' now

This was such a lovely listen. Ugh just love him… won’t spoil it in case anyone is still to listen but it was a great interview. He seemed to be very open and honest and I’m really looking forward to the new vibe of Robins and how his sober experiences translates into his comedy.

I'm sorry to all the massive Lou fans out there (I don't dislike her) but it really should have been Dave in the Tax calendar and not her. I can neither confirm nor deny if I'm going to cut out a picture of his face and pop it on there for the month of July.

I agree the recent post about the accident etc was very sad and they posted saying they’d done quite well out of it via PayPal - I can’t remember but the wording was odd. There’s a woman I see post all the time about how broke she is (in multiple groups it seems) and I’m just waiting for her to hint so hard that people send her money/ set up a gfm on her behalf.
