Listening to this week's ep... and this might be an unpopular opinion but I'm not enjoying Ivo Graham on it. I've never noticed this before, and I enjoy watching him on Taskmaster, but he umm's and ahhh's and stutters quite a lot and I find it reallyyy annoying (I'm clearly turning into my mother). It happens almost every time he speaks and it just doesn't make for good radio/podcast/audio.

Maybe he was having an off day, or maybe I'm a bit more irritable this morning

I know what you mean… it feels a bit of a character to me - the bumbling posh guy. He’s so pretty, though, so I forgive him . Especially on Task Master when I can actually see his face

I've had to take my calendar down because there's no more months and the sadness was real!

Teenagers are so lucky being able to have posters in their bedrooms of famous people they fancy and without judgement

Can't you do that thing where you print out a new grid for each month and stick it on? That way, you will always have Elis and John in your life

I had never heard the poo-in-the-bag story either, so spent last week's podcast internally screaming "But WHAT IS the story?!!"

Okay, so I know this is going to sound stupid, and I totally can't ask this on the FB PCD group (!), but..... WHAT the heck is a retro-oner???????????????

I agree the recent post about the accident etc was very sad and they posted saying they’d done quite well out of it via PayPal - I can’t remember but the wording was odd. There’s a woman I see post all the time about how broke she is (in multiple groups it seems) and I’m just waiting for her to hint so hard that people send her money/ set up a gfm on her behalf.

Around the World in 80 Daves needs to be shelved. It is terrible and adding more to the sausage fest.

Obviously I can’t remember his exact words but he shoehorned into conversation the fact that a close friend had recently had a child, and close friend had said to Daniel that watching his wife give birth was like watching his fave pub burn down. It had nothing to do with the conversation, so we were taken aback at the start of the anecdote, and even more so when it ‘ended’.

agree on the Dave segment - I love that he is an integral part of the show, and Elis has probably said the name Davina more than is strictly necessary, but it doesn’t seem to be adding much.

Sorry to go back to Tick Tock Robins but I'm just listening to it as I'm on a walk today as I needed cheered up (and given I was pissing myself laughing just at the intro I made the right choice) but got to the bit where theure calling him on the train and I was reminded of this cracker...

Apart from the ones they host themselves, which podcasts have Elis and/or John been on? I usually find new podcasts by searching for guests I like, and listening to their episodes (my go-to favourite podcast guests are Greg Davies, Tim Key, Alex Horne, Elis and old Jonny JR), so it would be cool to find any I have missed out on. Recommendations would be appreciated!

Elis has been on Parenting Hell a xouple of times (as has Isy). He was a parenting hell legend in the lockdown era. Definitely recommend listening to those.
