So pleased I found this thread!! I had my second Pfizer jab about a week before my period was due and it never came. Im now 3 weeks late. I’ve been feeling so hormonal and with the worry of this on top I’ve been an emotional mess. So glad I’m not the only one!!

Currently awake and have been up for the past hour in tears due to a horrific painful period. Have been on the pill for over a year now due to monstrous period pain which really helped (since on it, periods would be about four days and would barely feel a thing) - this is the first period since my vaccination and I feel like I’m back at square one 😢😢😢 Have had cramps for eight days and whilst the bleeding is minimal, the pain just seems to be getting worse. Sending hugs to everyone 😢❤

I’ve just been catching up on this thread and whilst I totally understand why people say it, I hate that so many comments have the caveat of ‘I’m not an anti vaxxer’. It’s a sorry state of affairs when we can’t talk constructively about symptoms without fear of being called out for it isn’t ☹

As I have said for many years now, no one is anti-vax until they have a reason to be. Once you question any vaccine, you are gaslighted and put in the naughty corner with us crazy ignorant CT anti-vaxxers. I am so sorry for you all and hope everything returns to normal very soon.

My sister has chosen not to have the vaccine and also a friend and they both lie if someone they don’t know well asks as they just get bombarded with hate otherwise

Hi!
I had my vaccine in April and had regular periods before and after but then last month (Aug) I missed my period and still not had one. I am so worried. Definitely no chance of pregnancy. What do I do?! Do I bother seeing a GP? It seems futile to just be waiting and begging for period to arrive. Tearful as I’m writing this.

Contact your GP as that’s not normal for you x

Do you think? I have been told they will just say to monitor until it arrives.
Told by who? Contact your GP if you are concerned. I contacted my doctors recently as my periods are all over the place and expected to be fobbed off as I have PCOS but they did a smear, other swabs and an examination. I’m being referred to the hospital as they think I have endometriosis but the swabs also showed I had bacterial vaginosis I had no idea about so had treatment for that. Not meaning to derail (I had expressed concerns as my periods got even worse after vaccines). If you are worried then go, will put your mind at ease. If this is very unusual for you then don’t ignore it

Thank you. Just by friends and family who said don’t worry just wait for the next one.

Don't wait, if you need a specialist for any reason the appointments may take a long time due to this backlog. Not saying you will but you might. I have been waiting for a scan appointment for a while now. it's not urgent in the grand scheme of things but I can no longer feel the bottom of my foot, so the nerves are damaged now.

Been following this thread for a while, I’ve chosen not to have the vaccine, I find this stuff fascinating and am amazed it’s not being investigated more. Also just seen this in the paper!

Just to follow on from this. Now on day ELEVEN. Cramps have gone but period bleeding has ramped up massively 😳 Going to call GP tomorrow but I’m unsure if there is any point as what they can even do?! Hope everyone is feeling okay. ❤

Not so much period related, but hormone related. Has someone experienced a sudden burst of acne after their vaccine?

I normally don't have much acne or if I do, it's food related (dairy / chocolate which I don't ever eat, only on occasion).

For about three weeks after my second shot, I kept getting pimples on my cheeks, jaw and even nose. I had this particularly large pimple that would seem to disappear then would start growing again on the exact same spot. It took me three weeks to get rid of it. Strange because it definitely wasn't diet related.

So, I had my period on time after the second shot. No cramps to record. All as usual, except for two things:
  • My flow was heavier than normal. I had the flow of three days in two days.
  • My period seemed to have stopped. It normally lasts four days, but it seemed to have only last 2.5 days this time around. I had it during the night from Thursday to Friday and today, the flow is quasi-non existent. It's the same flow was what I'd normally get on my fourth day. When i had my period after the first shot, it lasted 3 days which I wasn't super worried about, but I'm a bit more worried this time.

My period was much heavier. Its usually so light, I dont need tampons or pads but I did this time. It also lasted longer

Months later after my second Vaccine and my periods are still all over the place. Sometimes 2 weeks apart, sometimes no bleeding at all after the initial spotting just pain and the other symptoms for a week, sometimes just spotting for 2 weeks.
Going to book a GP appointment and ask to see a gynaecologist because this really isn’t right. The pain is also very severe, I get hormonal acne now which is new, and I’ve had horrible migraines all during the periods. Such fun, eh? 😂

So I had my second dose two weeks ago on the first day of my period and today I’m bleeding a bit. I normally have a regular 28/29 day cycle so it’s really unusual for me. At first I thought it was either ovulation spotting or (TMI) just a bit of bleeding after sex, but it’s a fair amount. Not enough to justify using a tampon, but obvious when wiping, and red blood, rather than brown spotting. Has anyone else experienced this?
