I wouldn't think that matters at this point, though.
When the bill was still current, he could have easily put a good dent in that bill with the money he spends on 3-5 big sit-down w/ tip meals at Disney, and had it paid off - at the most - in a matter of months.
It didn't need to go to collections. You can typically call a CC company and try and negotiate a lower APR to pay it down faster, or if that doesn't work bc of the type of card you have, even try and negotiate a lower balance to clear it up. And if that doesn't work, once you go to collections, you can usually try and negotiate a lower balance if you're, again, willing to give them some money.
Not saying it always happens, but you have to show good faith in contacting them.
Unfortunately, I have experience in this area due to a bad first marriage / divorce where I was saddled with tens of thousands of debt (I'm talking $50,000+) and ended up having to go Chapter 7 in my late 20s.
$900 is nothing.

Perhaps it was joint credit and it had V's name and address as primary and contact. Perhaps he didn't even get notified of default until the debt was sold. I agree, he should have been able to easy negotiate a payment or just paid the amount in full once he knew of its existence.
Sooo Pete from Disunplugged is never invited then.
Although he still rants about it in the Dis. I understand Disney's side but it wouldn't change people's minds if something is terrible or not worth it or expensive. I think they are making regular guests fed up by the dates and hypocrisy look at the skyliner preview.

If V. is primary, then she'd be saddled w/ the CC bill.
If he was just an additional cardholder / authorized user, the primary cardholder is still responsible for the bill.
That would mean V. would, again, be responsible for it.
Edited to add: I doubt a CC type like this would be a joint credit issue, but if it were, they'd both be named in the court docs. And if that were the case, it'd be even more stupid since I saw an Dec 2019 IG pic of her with a Porsche SUV captioned "hard work pays off."

This is GREAT! I don't wish for him losing something vlogger related to be cruel, just is good for him to have a some kind of "no" when it comes to the way he vlogs. It's not family friendly to drink before a ride and buy document fedoras only and then go cheap route on an AP Preview and treat his mom like that. If he can tell his own mom no or Veronica (if it is real) then it's good he gets a "no" and no better than from Disney itself!

The TTT is way too involved for a TLDR (keeps evolving LOL). Check out the last TTT thread. The stuff started about 5-6 days ago from the point of their last livestream until now.
Basically what I was just told is that they really don’t want to work with people who are going to make their living off of vlogging. They really want to work with people who are relatable…you know people who have jobs and vlog for fun.
As much as you know I cannot really stand any vloggers (entitled, whining, brats as 99% of them are), if this were true - and how the company wants to move forward - I could (almost) be OK with this.
I'm sitting here giggling at the "pro" vloggers.
I'd love to see a variety of people picked. Young, old, etc.
The person I am talking to about this has also seen the Vlogs I did over the summer for my RunDisney training and they’re interested in connecting to chat with me about my vlog as long as I promise I am not going to make a living off of it. Probably. I think the Mouse is sick of their tit in general. The intel I am getting right now is telling me that if you go in humble and be nice, you will get a lot further. BBBrooke is on the permanent exclusion list too because of 1) giving Tim her plus one to HEA, and 2) all of the copyrighted merch she’s selling on her website, which coincidentally is down while she celebrates her nuptials. This makes a lot of sense. It's already not right vloggers do practically nothing to help others can make a living by the $$$$ while other's who can do the same don't. However to use "Disney" especially to get the benefits and telling people Disney invited them is disgusting because most aren't fans of Disney otherwise if they were they would be obeying Disney and doing the right thing when it comes to respecting Disney and viewer audiences.

I know a lot of companies are more keen to work with "micro influencers', so it makes sense if Disney is going this route.
I know a lot of people who watch TTT also watch PMM, SE, MK, etc. But if Disney starts focusing on smaller influencers they may find people they haven't reached yet. Smaller influencers typically have more die hard fans that will listen to their recommendations. Whether they're on the media list or not, these 'full time vloggers' are going to vlog any little changes that Disney does because they're starved for new content.
