Oh hell fire is it Jamie's consultancy??? Jesus wept!!
I'm sure the McAreavey/Harte family will accept that apology, they are lovely forgiving people and I mean that sincerely. Me on the other hand I would roast them. The online threats or whatever shouldn't be happening, if they are that's shameful too. But perhaps it wasn't the right time to mention those in that statement.

The pair of them deleted their Facebook profiles last night so I doubt anyone knows who their family are to be sending threats. It’s a deflection tactic to garner sympathy, it will have been Jamie’s bright idea to stick that in.

Suspicions confirmed. Jamie’s behind the statement. He can’t help himself.

Quote under the orange order statement by a member of the Orange Order.
"Protestantism stands firms in opposition to the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church and rightly so but this stand must be done respectfully.
This young lady was brutally murdered on her honeymoon and sadly went out into eternity believing the teachings of her church would save her."

What the actual bleeping duck is wrong with some people. See this fire and brimstone shite and that "popery" is evil. Away and catch a life.
Where is the Christianity in that attitude?
Like you might as well just say the lassie deserved it.
Not directed at anyone here by the way. Just highlighting the crazy.

Very Christian indeed. All the Church bake offs in the world can’t fix the hatred coursing through those veins.
I dare say the poor girl “went out into eternity” frightened and fighting for her life. The amount of comments on social media defending this depravity is astounding.

I’m ashamed to admit I know one of the men in question. I went to school with him. I haven’t seen him in years to be fair. No doubt he will keep a low profile now the woman. I can assure you everyone is absolutely disgusted. There really is no place for this and it’s sickening. I just can’t fathom why you’d even make a song like that up in the first place. Two of them have been sacked and rightly so. I believe one did volunteering for linfield football club too and he’s been let go from there too. Just utter filth.
Please don’t tar us all with the same brush though, I can promise you not all of us are filled with absolute hatred and shite like that.
I’m glad social media has done its thing and some of them have been recognised and getting what they deserve. No excuses.

They pulled a stupid move letting Bryson issue the statement. Really realty stupid. Of all the people they could have used. Sacked and making headlines in one day, but I bet its nothing compared to whats happened/happening for Michaelas family.
I just feel sad.

And then to top it all, in attempt to show the world they aren’t the sectarian bigots they’re perceived to be, they get Jamie Bryson of all people to represent them 🤦🏻‍♀️

I know, I’ve no idea what the thought process was there but tbh I’m not surprised as they obviously don’t think much in the first place! Let them dig their grave. I feel sorry for their families having to deal with the flack from their stupid idiotic behaviour. I feel sorry for Michaela and her family, how fcking horrible for them.

Yeah it’ll die down eventually, they’ll keep their heads down until people forget, they’ll get other jobs, they’ll carry on with their lives but the torture and distress for Michaela’s family is never ending.

I know it's not a reflection on the protestant people .I had a very good friend that went on to commit one of the most barbaric loyalist attrocities , he was reared with catholics in a catholic community we grew up together ,his mum and family are still here nobody holds it against them ,we can tell the difference believe it or not .

I’m not so sure. I’ve seen friends of one of the guys in question come out and publicly speak of their disgust, so I don’t think people will forget. Not anytime soon. Where they live is a small area and everyone knows everyone. I’d like to see how this plays out down the line. It won’t be that easy to just hope it all blows over and be forgotten about. but rightly so, they deserve all they get. No sympathy from me.

Well hopefully you’re right, that said I also hope it isn’t just the 2 that have been named and shamed that face consequences. They are all equally guilty. Where did it happen? Was it Dundonald?

I thought it must have been portadown/Craigavon area, given that one worked at Emersons.
I know that area very well, have socialised a lot there even as far as Banbridge....thats where I've encountered the bigotry I was talking about earlier. Don't see it as much round my own parts.
Fact yesterday I was chatting to my neighbour (loyalist ex army served time) we were chatting away about the jubilee not a bother to us.

Well I think more names are slowly starting to come out as the video gets shared around and people recognise ones in it. Even though I went to school with one of them I honestly didn’t recognise him until I read comments and saw the name. Someone else has been recognised as a driving instructor. Social media will do its thing and I’ve no doubt they’ll all be named and shamed. I’m not sure where it’s filmed but I’m taking a guess it’ll be an orange hall in or around Portadown as that’s where those that have been named are from.
