Not always. And if its not effecting learning they absolutely don't, that would usually only happen via a parents directive. Fiona was blind to it.
They can do but a parent has to be onboard with the "label" some won't hear off it. I know a couple of kids, one in particular who the school have approached and the parents won't entertain the help, this child also has tics, brought on by stress it was that the school noticed, parents nope, the child is very very intelligent so they expect them to sail through life but don't take into account the mental health side of being on the spectrum, not to mention tics can develop into tourrets.

my youngest boy ( and others) have been physically abused by a boy in his class since nursery school , parents wouldn’t here any concerns although his grandparents knew there was something wrong, parents finally agreed to get him assessed and he’s on the spectrum, mothers a psychologist too ..I’m sure the police would’ve inquired at his school and they would’ve told them about their suspicions?---

Happens all the time. If you have a child that isn't causing any hassle and parents aren't concerned they let them sail through with minimal to no support. Teachers will know. Other people will know. But parents are generally oblivious their child is just themselves and an individual. They might even think they're gifted.

Thoughts on this? I did think at the time he was buried very, very quickly. I always thought that was odd.
Not sure if they knew how long he was dead before he was found but decomposition is rapid , although Donal said the body was well preserved for the part of the drain he was found in .
I remember the case when it was first reported, it was so odd even from the beginning. I vividly remember a female witness who'd seen him fall off his bike and hit his head. Then that whole angle seemed to disappear. Does anyone else remember this? Sorry if this is a basic question, I haven't really followed all the developments of the case.
I wonder if he felt a huge amount of pressure as a mixed race child in Belfast. My boys are both mixed race so I'm kind of sensitive about it. I also follow this girl on Instagram who is a single parent to a mixed race boy and the pressure she puts him under is unreal. Posting all the time about race and making him like a poster child for diversity, then mentioning he has terrible anxiety. He's primary school and has his life plastered all over social media. I can't stand it but I can't look away. Not saying Fiona did that but it seems like he was quite a high achiever and sometimes that comes from feeling like you aren't enough.

Yes the fall from the bike, I've questioned this before as I can't remember if this person was interviewed or popped up on social media at any point? It was this fall that sent everyone off looking for a concussed child, I've often wondered was it even true.
Think most agree Noah was under pressure in the Grammar, he was involved in alot, and whether you can cope or not, everyone needs some down time or maybe it was the opposite with him that, lockdown was too much downtime and he was lonely. But I get what you mean some push themselves or are pushed to appear better and to want to be better, nothing wrong with that so long as you can cope.

If he was on the spectrum it could account for the high achievements ? apparently he was a gifted musician , it’s not unusual to excel in certain things if you’re autistic, could account for the anxiety and the fear he seemed to show before his death, especially if he was being used to deliver stuff for certain people.
He didn't go into tigers bay, Donal would need to be factual, he passed it. Interesting he is open now about adding a possibility of a mental health episode in.
In reality what will his investigation expose? We all know the police didn't investigate other than a misadventure line so what is he planning on telling everyone? I have great respect for the other professors who he will work with but without the PPI and the other cctv it's really only their opinions, same as ours on here, yes they have many years of criminology behind them but it's still only what they think. 150k is a lot of money, I'll be expecting straight out facts.

Yip all of that, the music in particular is a great gift many on the spectrum have, their brains have the ability to read music very well. And yes also the anxiety.
He talked about the possibility of suicide throughout the main focus is why there wasn’t a basic police investigation/ forensics carried out, Fiona only wants the truth no matter what that is, there were a lot of failures on the side of the police and they kept certain things back from the family, they want to know why?
Yes thats what I mean though, the whole country knows the police did a tit job and didn't really entertain other possibilities. We don't need Donal to spend 150k and sell a book to tell us. I suppose if he exposes them in that sense they'll maybe have to take some responsibility for their lack of investigation and come out and say why they are withholding stuff and withheld cctv. I must listen to the podcast, that last link you sent worked but the previous ones didn't. I'll look it up.
I’ll try them again see if they work there’s a lot of interesting things in it like one of the experts he’s got working with him said people having a MH episode don’t cycle uphill ?
