I think the fact that the PSNI aren’t saying anything at all despite what looks like quite bad reputational damage (and I know some don’t believe they have a reputation to damage) suggests to me that there is some sort of ongoing investigation.

if you think about the Natalie thing and how the alleged killer had a very distinctive walk and the cctv footage showing someone with a distinctive walk and for weeks the police were getting grief about not looking into it correctly when in fact it looks like they did some proper policing

There is a lot to Still come out judging by Fionas tweets, she said it was extremely hard to hold in the knowledge of the cctv footage of the previous night but had to because of the court case. She said she tries to tell people in subtle ways (totally paraphrasing here) via tweets and hashtags and I think that's what a few on here have definitely picked up on. It's reading between the lines.

Maybe he was just a troubled teen, I have read many things to suggest he was struggling.
But part of me feels like he was a small fish in a big ocean that got caught.
I hope we can finally get the truth, the crowdfunding wasn't moving that much last I'd saw.

I don't really like the golden boy nonsense and not perfect narrative. In saying that I think its clear that Noah was going through something, typical enough for teens though. It takes a village to raise a child and all that and during lockdown that wasn't happening. I do think both Fiona and Noah were struggling.
I trust Donals journalism and I do hope he's doing the right thing now and that this isn't about a book deal that won't provide answers.
I will always believe Fiona wasn't given all information because of her online behaviour but I do question why she wasn't informed about him leaving the home the night before. Even if she'd put that out for discussion it wouldn't have done any harm the contrary maybe.
I don’t like the “not perfect” narrative either, especially about a child. Teenage years are tough at the best of times, never mind lockdown etc.

I do agree there’s an element of Police possibly not trusting Fiona with information but once they had decided there was no foul play, surely as the child’s mother she was entitled to know all available information? Unless of course, it would jeopardise another investigation….. so here we are back at square one 🤔

The PII is curious though. If there was a drug link maybe its around that. I think a young lad experimenting with drugs wouldn't require a PII. It would be yeah sorry to tell you he was using substances and we think they caused him to strip off and hide in a drain. Devastating for his mum of course but she wouldn't be the only one.
In some ways I feel the police have handled the situation with sensitivity and in other ways I'm like for ducks sake.

Was there ever any information released about mobile phone data? Police are very precious about the methods and technology they use to glean mobile phone and location information. I’ve always thought this, or something along those lines was the reason for the PII.

The ‘not perfect’ narrative isn’t something I was trying to portray and I think I explained it really badly. It was just my shock last week because all we knew about him was all of the good stuff and it was so out of character for him not to home and that was why the original story was so shocking. But since we have heard from the cctv etc and fiona’s tweets we are now thinking that either he was on or was transporting drugs?
I wasn’t trying to judge him in any way as it sounds like he was a troubled young man and teenagers can and do sneak out of the house and get drunk or take drugs and ultimately he should still be alive.

it doesn’t matter whether he was perfect, or not perfect or a wee tit. 14 years old is still a child.

I don't know, you could be absolutely right though.
You'd think even the tech on the phone itself would show his movements, mine tracks me and cheekily reminds me exactly where I've been every month. The miles I've driven, shops and restaurants and bleeping houses. I certainly wouldn't get away with an affair 🙈

So, if he took his phone with him the night before they could know his movements, kids are smarter than I am and they probably know how to disable that feature. How do you disable it? 😂

They also released that very identifiable footage during an active investigation, we know (by their own admission )he was the prime suspect! People are only questioning why they’re withholding vital CCTV footage of Noah ?

You can easily turn that off in settings .

Yeah, that’s a good point to be fair.

I do think potentially a lot of the CCTV may have been switched off at that time during covid so if shops/ pubs were closed they may not have had it on?

So is she saying he went back out and got them so is there maybe more cctv?

For me the flip flops could be easily explained, he maybe stuck them in his short pockets so that he wasn't making noise, especially when wet walking back in, I'm assuming they lived up stairs. You know how they make that sort of smacking noise. It would depend on how clear the footage is. Who would want m&s flip flops. Headphones however, I'd be more concerned about those depending on type, he could have sold them and Fiona isn't denying they're missing.

Flip flops are awful when it’s wet, she said he probably had them in his pocket , the police have never asked for flip flops or headphones but where are they now? She doesn’t have them!

It’s not all about location settings etc. police do not like the public knowing the information that can be retrieved from electronic devices. Nothing is ever deleted, everything can be recovered by various means, technology and programmes. I don’t think they want the public (in general) knowing details of this as it could make criminals more savvy in subsequent circumstances. I think the PII has something to do with this type of thing. Their investigation tactics, not necessarily information pertaining to Noah.

I agree with this regarding the PPI as they've said it more or less contains the 'how' and let's face it we don't need scammers and criminals anymore savy than they are.

The cctv is still strange though, unless they felt the pressure of the walks and army out all the time and where fed up listening to Fiona, so passed the cctv to her legal team, in a there you go type thing, explain that, as obviously she had no idea noah was out, whereas the police did and questioned her on that. Where they trying to spare her at a terrible time? They are wrong for not having 💯 transparency. The fact there is still some footage remaining, I get she wants it for clarity and the psni are saying there's nothing of interest on it, but I totally understand how she wouldn't believe that. If there's nothing on it, there's nothing on it but it would eat away at a person not knowing for sure.

I mean I know this Arlene O’Neill person is basically a troll account but some of the noah’s army are deluded.
I saw some posting (prior to the latest thing) that he had been tortured and murdered. He may well have been murdered… we have no idea but there is nothing to indicate he was tortured. It was on Facebook though so I should know people get away with themselves

I don’t think there were any mention of documents beforehand it was CCTV people were commenting on , how does Arlene know who was questioned?

Your links aren’t loading for me?

but I could be wrong here but I vaguely remember Fiona dismissing the idea of it being mental health about a year or more ago? I could be misremembering but I have a recollection of her insisting he wouldn’t have taken his ownlife? It may have been on of the army perhaps.
