Peter said he plans to search for a couple more days until he is certain she is not in there. He said with the way the tide goes she will naturally flow up and down the river but it was impossible for her to have reached the sea by this time. Interesting listening to him, but it will put the police in a very difficult position if he completes his search and makes his conclusion.
It will be ok if his conclusion is “I didn’t find her in the river”. And very difficult indeed if it is “I didn’t find her in the river therefore she didn’t fall in the river therefore the phone is a decoy therefore a 3rd party is involved”. I think I can guess which way he’ll go 🤔

I took this from the presser too. She kind of emphasized it when she said it. I think they know much more than they’re saying.

Did anyone pick up on ‘Nicola was in the river at one stage’… she said twice. Found it a bit odd. Maybe she means she was in the river but has now washed out closer to sea.

It’s just dreadful isn’t it. I hope she is found one way or another.
I picked up on that too. I can't understand how she could have been in the river at some point but not now. I wasn't sure if she meant washed out to sea, but being from the local area, I can't see her getting past a very shallow weir before getting to the sea where she would definitely have been seen, should she have travelled further out to sea.

This thread seems to have been filled up overnight with the kind of people who think 9/11 was a false flag.
How dare anyone question anything, ever.

I agree it can get taken too far but this demonisation of anyone who doubts the fell in the river scenario is ridiculous.

There is a weir downstream which maintains the water level so unless there is a lot of rain there is very much reduced flow

these people are bleeping mental dont even bother on tik tok full of mediums and idiots! so disrespectful and not helpful in the slightest. Really hope she is found soon its horrible for the family they dont need this and it doesnt help anyone
---

Apparently there was no ball and there are various reasons her dog wouldn‘t follow her into the river which has been discussed on the thread before, the deep drop, extremely cold water, Willow didn’t see her go in, she was too scared etc.
also if she did slip or fall in she could have shouted at willow to STAY as she ddnt want her entering the water, willow maybe could have went and got her harness trying to help bless her we just dont know from what ive seen though no ball was taken.

Peters pissed the police haven't told him anything.
HE contacted the family. The family then asked the police if he could join the search.
No, he contacted the Police within the first few days and they denied him access to the river. The family then pressured police into allowing him to search.
He's actually a forensic investigator and is the 'go to' for water disappearances down south.

I think she’s hinting that they think Nicola has washed out to sea.
Wouldn’t that be convenient for the police. After what the other guy has publicly said, I think they will have trouble getting anyone to believe that now. What a mess eh.

I’d read someone saying Nicola‘s Fitbit had been synced on the Tuesday after she disappeared (reason I suggested that may have been done by police). So had that ‘Top Specialist’ on Good Morning bothered to read the info already out there from a few days ago, he‘d know it’s not that straight forward in this case and was already being looked into.
So does that mean if it hasn’t been synced and if it’s stopped working, or not in range of her mobile, you can’t get more recent info as it won’t have been backed up, only up to the Tuesday before she went missing?

In the next recap, in massive bold letters, any objections to

the dog was dry but that does not matter

the conference call was on mute and camera was off so no one saw or heard anything

three people saw her on the walk

her husband is not a suspect
But does anyone know if willow was wearing a harness or not?

Can we also add:

The caravan park has been searched.
The empty caravans in the park have been searched. The police have stated they have no reason to search occupied caravans as the search hasn't led them to occupied caravans. Unsure how the search led them to unoccupied but not occupied

Well then he's changed his story again. Why doesn't that surprise 🤔 i literally heard him on GB news this evening explain how he became involved. He said he had members of the public contact him so he reached out to the family and they asked police
I'm only repeating what I heard him say. With my ears. From his lips.

is there anyone who could maybe do a wiki? Somewhere we could add the actual facts as we know them, and we can add updates
Be good to be able direct new ppl to thread to the facts as there is a lot of info and misinformation in these threads now
I think gloria already has one in the works 👍

Not really. The “other guy” isn’t privy to the full facts of the investigation.

Not many people in the local area believe she's gone in the river. The thing with big stories like this is that if you don't know the river or the area, it's easy to believe - the police statements seem credible. When you know the river and the bay, you think differently.

I'm finding him to be an absolute irritant and wish he had never got invovled.

I can't help stop thinking that her colleagues would have been on call with her (muted and no camera I know) when she was potentially drowning 😔 Makes my blood turn cold thinking about that.

I think the fact that there were 700 different cars going through the village on that morning shows that maybe it’s not the small, everyone knows everyone kind of village that I imagined it as.
