Yeah he does come across as a knob but if his background is true then probably good he’s on case. Here’s his previous cases;
I really hope he is good. It’s hard to know how good though, the wording in DM article is very ambiguous and I’m just a bit dubious at how much actual success he’s had -

In addition to his work with protesters, Mr Faulding has assisted with several high-profile missing persons cases and 'no body' murder investigations.

He was involved in the search efforts for five-year-old April Jones

Mr Faulding also assisted with the cases of Scottish serial killer Peter Tobin

(Not meaning this reply to seem like I’m arguing with you btw! Just read the link you sent and the wording stood out)

Honestly eats

I've attempted twice. My child was with me the first time. The second time I had a date set up that evening. Psychosis can hit anybody at any time and your brain is literally not your own.

I'd just like to say that I don't think this is the case and I hope it isn't. Just wanted to share my own experience. Sometimes you don't plan it, your brain tells you to do it there and then and doesn't give you another option.
I’m glad you’re here. The world would be a poorer place without toffees and the sea ❤

No.. I agree with you actually! I too hope he’s as good as some papers are implying. 👍

Right so he didn’t find her within 5-10m of where she could have fallen in, so he doesn’t know what could have happened. That’s basically what he’s saying.

Her phone could have been planted as a decoy - he then references a murder case where a shoe was left by the murderer. I’m sure that’ll be really reassuring to Nicola’s family to hear. Idiot.

Good thing he wasn’t charging and doing it for free.

Imagine hiring him he’d quote you for an 1 or 2 hours work, that turned into 3 or 4 days when you get the final bill. 👀

She's arranged a play date for her children, e mailed her boss and logged in to a zoom meeting? Are they really the actions of someone who is contemplating suicide?
Just to throw a wild card … how is anyone sure that it was really her on her phone? Anyone could have sent that text. Potentially someone could have even dialed into her work meeting, but that seems less likely for obvious reasons. It’s a possibility that she was disturbed mid meeting. I don’t know.

I don’t want to contribute to any wild theories when there is a family grieving. I really hope they find her soon, to at least get some closure.

I feel that the police may know a lot more than they are releasing to the public, but what do I know. For now, all we really know is that there are question marks over a lot of her movements that morning and nothing can be really ruled in or ruled out at this point. We can’t be sure she went in the water. Yes, it’s the most plausible explanation, but we just don’t know this for sure. We don’t have the case files and we are only going on what has been reported, which may not be fully accurate.

I really hope she is found soon. It would be nice to hear she is safe and well and there is some kind of a simple explanation to all this. It hurts my heart to think of her two girls wondering where their mum is. I do think that some of the wilder conspiracies being posted on Twitter etc are in bad taste. However I do feel that the family are not helping by the statements they are putting out either. They just don’t know either. Let’s hope the police solve this soon. 🕯

I presume when police arrived and unlocked her phone it was still logged into the teams call.

This is helpful to visualise Nicolas journey on Friday morning.

Regarding the dog being found running between the bench and the gate. Having watched the news video of the walk Nicola took there is little to no distance between the 2. Literally a few steps, not as I'd imagined at all.

Furthermore when people generally go missing the police normally compile CCTV images and release to the public....
IE, Jeff (made up person) was caught on CCTV at Tesco having bought milk. From there he was then caught leaving the High Street passing the post office and crossing at the chip shop. The last known image is of Jeff entering Cavern Lane where we then loose all CCTV.

Obviously they have spoken to people who saw her on that morning but what can it hurt to release CCTV, if there is any.

Are there any shortcuts, across fields to perhaps bridlepaths, back lane exits? I don't know the area at all but if her family believe she needed time away, are there exits she could have taken which were not on her normal route?

Terribly tragic from every angle.

There were two cases mentioned in an article I read earlier that were quite well known. For the life of me I can't remember what they were though.

After watching his interviews, I don't think he's had any official media training though.
You shouldn’t really need to have media training to behave professionally but that’s just my opinion. I didn’t think it was a good look trying to belittle the Lancs Police without even the basic facts (available to the public) and now he’s had to backtrack. Let‘s hope his sonar equipment is better than his knowledge.

She was seen safe and sound, with her dog at 9.10 so it seems unlikely someone already had her phone and was arranging playdates before that.

Apologies replied to the wrong person.

On a lighter note, huge thank you to the posters who thought Phil and Holly had actually popped down to do a quick segment for This Morning from the bench. That had me absolutely howling on what otherwise is (rightly) a very somber thread.

She has dialled into the meeting herself, she was seen during it by somebody who knew her.

If Mr Billy BigBollocks carries on trying to undermine the police investigation I doubt any force would use him if needed in the future.

I think the fact that people immediately thought it was real says a LOT about Phill and Holly as people in general tbh😂.
Although, I have to admit the “HAS PHIL ACTUALLY GOT A GLASS OF WINE THERE AS WELL???” pretty much caused me to break a rib laughing ngl, so ty to whoever it was who said that

I noticed he said the Police were doing a good job in his recent interview with Jeremy Kyle. Seems he might have realised this very thing...

Is Peter working with the police or are his services being paid for privately by the family?

April Jones and the Peter Tobin murders. He apparently specialises in cases where no body has been found.
And indeed they never found April Jones so where's the speciality in that
