Others are saying on Facebook & Twitter that it is a cyclist the emergency services are there for?
Sadly it may have been a cyclist. According to twitter.
Easy to forget I suppose that other crimes and emergencies are still going on in that area
I hope it's not her but equally I do because the family need closure.

Whwn you expand this post, underneath it says a cyclist was knocked off their bike. So yes I totally agree, would not be taking this as fact yet until verified officially. Some ghouls out there.That’s come from one person saying it on fb as far as I can see so I wouldn’t take it as fact yet
I dont believe for a minute his race and religion are anything to do with it!

Can I just say, coming from a family that has been in the news due to a tragic accident, the wait is bleeping awful, the day my nephew was found I was walking home and literally collapsed in the street with relief, he was no longer out there, he had come home to us (I'm not very good at getting my thoughts down), we obviously knew the outcome, we were just waiting for him, I hope she's found soon, deep down I think the family do know she went into the river and my love and hugs go out to them x
Now saying on twitter the police want to speak to a fisherman seen in the area after Nicola disappeared ??

As much as it’s a bit of a relief especially for Nicola‘s loved ones, it’s awful a cyclist has had an accident.
Let’s hope they‘re okay
I couldn’t imagine that heavy presence for a cyclist / accident if that happened 3 hours ago.

I know that there is a lot of speculation out there & that social media is the worst place for wild theories etc to emerge but I saw this & wondered what people thought? Sorry if this has already been posted / discussed- this thread is moving at the speed of light so hard to keep up!
