Its terrible how so many people are commenting on Nicolas facebook profile with their theories and accusations. Some people take it way too far and have no respect.

Right so he didn’t find her within 5-10m of where she could have fallen in, so he doesn’t know what could have happened. That’s basically what he’s saying.

Re Peter I don’t know if he’s being misquoted or what, at first he says it’ll take a day to search, then 3 days, then he’s been quoted saying it’ll take an hour?

I'd just like to say that I don't think this is the case and I hope it isn't. Just wanted to share my own experience. Sometimes you don't plan it, your brain tells you to do it there and then and doesn't give you another option.
I've attempted twice. My child was with me the first time. The second time I had a date set up that evening. Psychosis can hit anybody at any time and your brain is literally not your own.

I think he has offered his services for free. That's what he was offering when it was first announced he would be assisting (the time where Lancs police then said he wasn't but then later it was officially announced he would be).
Also, despite some of his slightly ill advised critical comments he is an industry expert, with existing contracts (or at least regular outsourced work) with several police forces.
Let's hope he finds her if she's there to be found.

I think this Peter guy needs to stop talking on this case and be a bit more professional, out of respect for the family. I appreciate he's trying to help out but it seems like he's trying to make a name for himself.

There were two cases mentioned in an article I read earlier that were quite well known. For the life of me I can't remember what they were though.
After watching his interviews, I don't think he's had any official media training though.
